The transplant of the keymaps into android from this rom to justXBMC didn't work.

I also tried copying the XBMC specific keymaps into the appropriate userdir, no luck.

Really, the only thing keeping me from using quickshot is the fact that a BD mkv and BD avi rip wouldn't play, and it doesn't have native samba baked in (Linux/CIFS filesystem) that I know of.

I suppose I could just use CIFSManager, though. I wonder if I could install the apk version of justXBMC into Quickshot...even then, though, I guess it wouldn't keep the keymaps.

Sorry to be a n00b here. I'm finding that the keymapping stuff is the hardest part.

Of course if you want to install the 13.1 you can, the app is in /system/preinstall/first/
uninstall the previous version before.

I explained badly ...

I meant that developers could make available XBMCZ (in to 3.1) even for users QSv3.0, instead advise to install from scratch. Or this method is wrong?

I have a big favor to ask the developers: you are able to create/edit a script that works well with XBMC on QSv2 on XBMZC and QSv3?

Have anyone tried Hulu Plus (2.13.201557) with this ROM ? After i load a video the screen goes black (there is still sound) forcing me to do a hard reset.

I'm not but I'd suggest just hitting your home key on your controller to see if that gets your screen back... you could then use the task list to kill the hulu process

? but if all apps are installed as user apps, is not better to give the link of xbmcz 13.1, allowing for all upgrade 3>3.1 users to uninstall the old version and reinstall XBMC only the new one ?

Another question for all ... what is this madness for 5.1, surround, passtrought etc.. is not enough really an excellent stereo hi-fi two channel ??

New here, and i have to say: great work on qs, its majestic!
I have a small problem with 3.1, as hola and netflix do not work properly (cant find data, and after 5 refresh the wrong region shows up). As this did not happen in qs2, i wpuld like to test it in that rom, to see if it is qs or the hola update. Is there a way i can downgrade from 3.1 to qs2? And if so, how?

So, I have tested this issue (thanks for the advice on the downgrade!). What happens is the following:
1. Using Hola for US netflix access and the Netflix app in qs3.1; Netflix can't handle the Hola connection. It gives the error 'no data found'. A few refreshes later it loads data, but from my own region while hola is still running. Tried a fresh reinstall of 3.1; same problem.
2. Downgraded to qs2, the problem doesn't exist. I've used the same internet connection, same version of Netflix and Hola app and followed the same procedure on both QS version.

Whether it is really a 3.1 qs problem or not, i can't say. 3.1 was flawless, but i'll stick with 2 for now.

What have you chosen in settings on you android device and in xbmc settings? .. no matter what I do I can't get surround sound.. it only shows stereo. I have a Sony receiver.

Agreed but, I didn't have any issue on the previous build so I'm not sure what changed or what I may need to change to operate the same way. Is there something with the settings that could be causing this that anyone is aware of or experienced?

My internet is actually smoother and a little faster since the update... so besides the changing conditions you see on the internet with certain servers... that's all I can think of the could cause any change you may be seeing.
