[ROM] Quickshot V3.1 for minix X7 mini

Hey guys, so I am still learning and not to hot on this stuff. I am running quickshot 2 on my minix x7 mini.

If I update to quickshot 3 will my xbmc Library be deleted and I then have to re add all my subscriptions and video files.

Also is there away to run games/apps off my external SD card as the internal space in minuscule.

Yes, when you flash 3.1 or 3 all your entire nand will be erased.

hello guys tried this rom flashed multiple times but major video playback issues.. is there a way to flash back to quickshot 2 jb works better for me

We don't have the mini, we have the Neo X7 with a power button, we can explain step by step how to come back in the devices we have Unfortunately we cant explain it in a device we don't own, In first post you have a link to a rriley post where he explain now come back from kitkat to jb, this instructions are more generic, but is the most we can do.

In the Post from rrileypm he writes we must erase with the 4.4.2 Flashtool, but in the Flashtool is no Erase button! I need a Flashtool from a 4.4.2 ROM with a Erase button, because i want back to QS v2.0 this ROM is much better than this here.

The tool is the same that we use in qs2, I included the loader to make it easy. Remember that I never test this way to return to jb in the mini.

Ok i dont want a brick.
I love my Device... but XBMC is slow and i dont have a Softbutton for Volume and the Mouse Cursor i dont like... all this was much better in QS v2.0.

you do not believe me I took the risk and I managed to go back to JB.

Now is my Device in MaskROM MODE... EDIT: Ok with BatchTool 1.7 and the update.img from QS 3 i got my Device back to life... but only on KitKat... i try all but i cant go back to JB.

Have you done a erase IDB in the first place?

Yes i do exacly what in the HowTo is.

1. Erase with the Tool from Posting #108 from leolas.
2. Open QS 2.0 Flashtool and press only RUN.
... than Error !

Nevermind on the previous bug report regarding my remote stopped working after a factory reset. I reflashed the rom and the remote still does not work. The remote apparently "died" coincidentally after I factory reset the rom, but the rom was not the problem. Just a faulty remote.

Make certain you downloaded the proper ROM for yours... They have a Minix Neo x7 as well as the mini version and they are not interchangeable

Have you tried to disable ethernet?

Both physically and software
wifi can't even startup - tries to initiate and after 20 sec fails and repeating this does not help either

Any other suggestions?
