But the above lines were from this dmesg:

I think that after the first line:
<6>[ 13.716314@0] usbcore: registered new interface driver xpad
I should see something similar to this:
[ 8904.332308] usb 1-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=045e, idProduct=x[ 8904.332347] usb 1-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 8904.332368] usb 1-1.3: Product: XBOX Controller
[ 8904.332386] usb 1-1.3: Manufacturer: Microsoft
[ 8904.332403] usb 1-1.3: SerialNumber: ...
And because it's not there, I do think there's a problem with the driver.
That why when I start usbjoygold, it notices the usb connection with the xbox controller, but I can't select it afterwards to set it up.
No one here to help me? Has anyone got a original wired xbox 360 controller working on a s89-H?
Wim
EDIT: from https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamOS/issues/111 :
dmesg | grep xpad returns [ 3.941620] usbcore: registered new interface driver xpad
but no device name has been given indicating the controller is not fully installed.
This thread points to more people having this problem and this driver "xboxdrv" should help:
