Downgrading from 105k4 to 104k4 hangs me on Tronsmart Logo Screen !!!

As i said in another topic, i found some ''no image'' issues on 105k4 and i decided to go back to 104k4. But whenever i tried that my S89 hangs on first Tronsmart Logo screen like forever !!! I go to 102k4 and everything is fine.
Note that i downgraded to 104k4 using both methods of a) Sd Card via toohpick and b) the Usb Burning tool utility.
I have used 104k4 on older batch of S89 and had no issues.

I am running out of thoughts here and i dont wanna use 102k4 as it is too old. Please someone help me here...

Is there a 104k4 in zip format to update through the Android menu somewhere???

Update : Same goes for Finless 1.6 !!! This one also hangs i guess because is based on 104k4 !!!

USB method wont work as it wont auto mount on reboot.

Cant you flash from recovery ? even with SD card method use the update tool app and wipe data and flash that way ?

There really is no issues when downgrading with these boxes.

The update tool wants a zip file but for 104k4 i cant find one !!!

The update tool can use the zip that Riley included.

once extracted the file is there , extract the RAR first and copy contents to SD , to the root of SD , dont create any folders.

Remember dont update using USB as system cant read it from boot at all.

I tried the method of SD card and updating procedure starts and finishes ok, but when the boxes try to make their first boot they hang on Tronsmart Logo screen !!!

I do not want finless 1.7 as it is based on 105k4 which gives me no picture upon playback !!!

its the same method for 1.6

is there no way you can get into recovery and wipe data and cache, it could be your download of 1.6 was corrupt or stock , whatever your using, might be worth redownloading.

If you look at my first post last line, i already used finless 1.6 through the android update utility and got the same problem.

have you taken out the SD card when your powering up the system ? incase its trying to auto load from that ? even press toothpick effort again with SD card ejected so it can reset the box

I have tried everything man ... Nothing seems to work when i flash with 104k4 ...

When you use the flash tool what are you selecting for erase options?
DO NOT use force erase. It doesn't work.

My units arrived just today. They are super fresh. Maybe there is something wrong with them???

If any one of you guys has a unit from the latest batch could he possibly try to downgrade it just to check if there is a factory defect???

I just downgraded from 1.7 to Stock 104k4 without any issues. Used SD Card method, reboot into recovery via APP , remember to give it some time on the boot logo when you first restart, as its upgrading android devices in background. could take 5mins.

I did that as well and worked BUT with an older batch of S89's !!! The ones that came with 100,101,102k4 firmware !!!

This is the first S89 i am receiving with 105k4 as standard and the first time i have this issue !!!!

What was your factory firmware when you first received your box????

thats exactly what i am saying !!! I am 99% sure that if you had a 105k4 as standard you would have the same issue as I do !!!

I am testing the 4th box now all with the same problem !!!
