    Prahjister ROM 1.2 MK808(B)4.2.2 720 and 1080

Based off the latest rom 409.
If you need instructions on flashing check out a Finless rom for instructions...He wrote them up beautifully.
First boot takes a really long time and next couple take a little bit until cache is built.
Flash and update all the apps. Kit Kat launcher looks and acts weird until Google search is updated.
    Go into settings and
    Set Auto Date and Time
Developer options and 3 animations from 1 to .5 near the bottom.
Copy the update.zip to your external sd card and it will install cwm.
Open SuperSU and update binary once if you want to be prompted for apps that require superuser priv....i do recommend.
Bluetooth settings are in regular setting so dont need rksettings apk anymore.
    Init.d works out of box.
If you want to try you can go into cpu in /system/etc/init.d/cpu and push your stick more if you feel like you have a good ps.
You do not need a cpu app. Might take one boot for it to take affect.
You can use Shomari's OC kernels. they are from the 409 stock.
I Insmod tun.ko but have no way of testing.
Finally vain enough and replaced boot logo and animation. I don't really care much about how it looks. I just want it to be clean.

I added more apps this time but installed a root deinstaller. So you can uninstall anything.
I did more testing this time so all files should be good.
This is my final 4.2.2 until i can find a 4.4 sdk. I want to do my next one from source.

Also excited about RK3288. The 3188 looks nice but didn't seem like it was worth the upgrade....

Big thanks to SergioPoverony for his tool. I did this one entirely in windows. Making testing much easier.

It look great but unfortunately, there's a major bug. I uninstalled Netflix and Root apps uninstaller but everytime I reboot, they somehow reinstall themselves without my consent. I have no need for both of those apps and I don't want them to reinstall themselves everytime I reboot.

Uninstall netflix with the root app uninstaller. If you use the built in one it wont work. Then use es explorer to remove the uninstaller from /system/app/

then if you want to completely wipe it out remove from system/usr

Talk to me about the netflix you installed - it replaces the one from netflix? When netflix updates will it update? (I noticed they just updated Android recently...finally...) Wasn't sure what you meant by the "built in" one. (Seems like yours would be built in, and the other would be from the play store/google/netflix however you want to look at it )

been running your original v1 rom ... was waiting to see when it might worth movin-on-up.

would you mind giving a short list of improvements? I followed the threads on the "409" rom but its hard to figure out all the lessons because there were so many topics.

thanks again, you are rocking it. ( except for wanting to use Windows , but you can be forgiven based on your awesome ROMs )

oh, finally last question- your rom as posted is not CWM flashable, correct? ( or is it ... already have CWM...just flash update.zip? ) confused because i see the flashtool.exe in there too.

thx for the rom, i just upgraded from lewys 4.1 rom and so far it looks very good, widi got disconnects from my nexus 7 2013 but that might be limited through my 2.4ghz wifi, so far it looks stable, very happy that there is still development for our stick, i am tempted by an 3188 but since we don´t even have a fullhd tv i skip it i can not rationalize an upgrade.

thx for your work i will post issues as they come

Anyone else still having problem with flash video playback? The videos are playing correctly but the flash plugin is lagging quite a lot when used with the Android default web browser.

Yes, it is a bit laggy but I don't think it is an issue.
If it's getting better it's fine, but in browser desktop PC like performance I would only expect from the quads with 2gb ram.
Be. Airpin(extra paid app) is awesome for dlna and even airplay mirror works on wife's iPad, so widi doesn't work but airplay which is crazy

Which kernel are you using? I'm using the original kernel supplied in Prahjister ROM and I can't even run flash video in full screen mode. It either become reaaaaallllllyyyy slow or it show a black screen until I use the home screen button to get back to the Android Launcher.

can you give the side with which u have issues as an example ?

i am still on the default kernel as well to see how stable it is after a couple of days, the old rom i used to freeze after a couple of days for no reason but only when the stick was idle.

i leave mine on for weeks without freezing...i used to have that problem and i changed my power supply and usb cable. I actually made a usb cable. I took apart a usb cable and soldered i pair of cat6 cable. 18aug i believe. I had to break the pins off of mini end because i am terrible at soldering. I think this is due to the cable not being able to supply enough power.

I have never been able to get flash to work very well but i only use it occasionally. It seems if i let the browser sit for a bit then play the vid it will load.

Here's an example of a flash video which cause problem with the MK808B: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-28065288 . Try to play it and you'll see that it lag quite a bit. I can play if I'm not on full screen but once I try to go full screen, I get a black screen with nothing. For now, I'm using Puffin browser because it have the ability to play flash without any plugins. There's only one problem with it, it process the web page on the Puffin server in the US and then, it send it to the client. Then, I try to load video from CBC (Canada) and I can't get access to it because it tells me that I'm outside of Canada.

Actually the first time I tried it it did work in stockbrowser and I am in Sweden but the 2nd time it lagged extreme and the 3rd time I just had a black screen, I don't think it's an issue since even my kitkat nexus 7 2013 isn't flawless with dolphin and flash on flipping to full-screen there everything.

Well, it does look like every Android device have the same problem with Flash. I should've done more research before buying the MK808B because I wanted to to use it especially to play Flash video. I assumed it would work well.

Try an OC kernel and have a look at my build prop http://textuploader.com/0c4p

Flash runs very well on the MK808B 4.2 for me (much better than on KitKat for RK3066). Give this kernel a quick test

along with the build.prop settings that's all that's likely to be the main difference.
