Temperatures have changed in this ROM for me. I'm now down at 35-50 and around 40at idle. This is changed from 55-70.

In my eyes it only means, that they do another way to 'fake' the temp at some devices

The graph of the temps is going up and down in steps, looks strange certainly something not right.

yes. my temps are way down and i was successful in setting max clock to 1992 instead of 1600 in TricksterMOD and it sticks. running bobs 1296 cpufix.
my temps are at the top of the screen shot and it seems since the temps are reading different than beta 2, the throttling is not happening yet to me. i like this beta a lot more. havent done any bench's but the performance is better than 2. probably since the clocks are high.

Edit: been testing out the new beta and I experienced a couple random reboots. And some lockups. so naturally i thought it was me "overclocking?(actually the box says capable of 2ghz so this isn't really ocing)" to 1992. I flashed the CPU fix stock and uninstalled trickster and still I've had some lockups and random soft boots. This also is with xxposed uninstalled. I flashed fresh too. I'll get Catlog and see if I can catch it.

Getting random shell re-starts and reboots even with untouched stock firmware since upgrading to B3.

By flashing the CPU fix are you not just flashing the old kernel? Does the fix just not contain the altered kernel? This would be interesting as it would show the new kernel is not causing the lower temps but something in the ROM.

How can the box suddenly drop 20-30deg C? Doesn't seem right.

He created new CPU fixes I thought in his new tweaked zip for beta 3.

Edit: yes, kernel is dated June 28th so its updated.

Anyway, I'm having those shell restarts the poster above mentioned, even after another fresh flash. No tweaks involved yet.. It has happened to me after leaving the box idle for some time and then pressing anything will cause the soft boot
EDITED:: I've since turned off screensaver and daydream to see if that's the cause.. It happened from wake with those enabled

Ahh OK, didn't realise there was new CPU fixes. A 20-30 deg drop in temp seems strange still. I wouldn't mind knowing what MINIX did to get this.

I think my shell restarts and re-boots were due to using force erase all with the flash tool. It's a bug and you have to select normal erase

I don't thrust this figures, i checked temp with a ir temp reader and i have same number under load as i had with beta 2. Around 45c at reading the bottom off the box.

Can't get 1080p 24 hz working with this! On beta 2 it worked just fine. I have reinstalled this 2 times but i just goes to a black screen and the back to 1080p 50hz.

In his instructions, it clearly states in big red letters to unzip it and there is a read me. The ROM is inside the zip. Extract it.

Instructions are important if you're gonna be flashing

                                Not surprising, they're probably "manipulated".
