It is working for me, mabey it can depend on what brand off TV you use. Mine is a Sharp Aquos LC-60.

Ok i did take it apart and measured both sides with my ir temp gun. I run 3dmark for about 30 min and then i got this readings.

Heatsink side: 48c
PCB side: 58c
Cpu temp app: 38c

In his instructions, it clearly states in big red letters to unzip it and there is a read me. The ROM is inside the zip. Extract it.

Instructions are important if you're gonna be flashing

My old temps were around 65 to 70 after benchmarking so the 58deg with the temp gun sound. I thought the SOCs were trimmed? Obviously not.

FYI I can tell you the new sources from AML have changed the thermal throttling!!!!

So I expect what your all are seeing. Not saying it is right only that AML themselves changed it.

Aha so that's the reason the clocks read lower.. So throttle doesn't kick in. Idk seems like its gonna overheat regardless, just when it overheats now, it will be with the clockspeed at a high freq instead of the throttled speeds (so it may happen sooner), so it may explain my random reboots. Its too hot. But the box is still very cool to the touch. I really just don't know anymore. Box is running good now save for the reboots.
I'm hoping I understood Bob correctly.

They may have altered the throttling temps but the readings given by CPU temp apps really dont seem to be correct as Trhuster showed with his temp measuring gun. The gun was showing hotter temps that the CPU apps were.

Try and touch the bottom, it is much hotter than the top.

Just updated to this... Same as BETA 2, randomly soft resets after inactivity.
