Today I received my MX3 2Gb version, which would be the best firmware to install, and will I need to be aware of bricking the device?

Stick with the one it came with till the actuall release of 109k4 .. finless roms are tweaked and I find work well

So the stock firmware works best and plays 1080p fine and is fast in the menus?

I've had my beelink mxiii 2gb box for a few months now.
I've had problems with it freezing, Xbmc playing up etc..

I've now installed Finless rom 2.0 and also stann1983 version of Xbmc. My box is for me.... Perfect now.

No buffering issues in Xbmc, no freezes. So far so good tbh

I just installed the finless 2.0 but im using the kodi helix xbmc from finless post so far its good but will be checking different versions of xbmc as I feel the 109k4 oman rom worked abit better for me on this box

Have been running 109k4 on my MXIII for a week now & its perfect in every way. WiFi is particularly good - all in all a great combination 😊

Do u use the xbmc which came with 109k4? And did you do anything to the mbox settings or just leave it as .. see with finless 2.0 I had to change the display from hdmi auto detect to 1080p-60hz in order to get any video to play centrerd it was all disoriented think I might go back to oman my self

I like to stick with factory firmware whenever possible; and particularly with this box as we have the amazing Oman doing all the good stuff. I use the modified MboxSetting.apk to use 24hz with 1080p. Have watched hours of HD video without any issues. Omans 109k4 ticks all the boxes for me
