I have compiled a Kodi-Helix from the master branch with DD5.1 / DTS passthrough. All working fine on my X5 with Wasser 1.04.

This version is based on Kodi Helix 14.0 beta 1.

Tried it on my R28 RK3288 with finless rom 1.2 and it works pretty well with both DD and DTS. Best kodi version I have tried. Only one problem when jumping forward in a movie Kodi exits.

Kodi beta1/2/3 has serious issues with video playback so not recommended to use that unless you want passthrough wth no hissing sound with certain receivers.
Or you can use SPMC v13.3.4 beta 1 with perfect video playback but with problems with PT.
