I have sold my Minix X5 and replaced it with an AFTV. Kodi is doing a great job on that device. So just to let you know. Don't expect any more Kodi releases with passthrough patch from my side.

Since karel will not release any more version, here's today's nightly version with the libmedia patch

Because this apk has a different signature, you need to uninstall previous version first, so do a backup of your android/data/org.xbmc.kodi folder before uninstall. I changed that folder name, then did uninstalled previous version, installed the new version, renamed back the folder to the right name and finally runned kodi and didn't loose any addon or video sources.

Is it for RK3188 only? I have a Measy B4S powered by RK3288.

I have installed a couple of libmedia.so files - I don't even remember which and which - and they still don't give me DTS/DD passthrough (properly). Can you post your libmedia.so only so I can test on my device?

Uhmmm

I tried this version on my X7 Finless 1.9 and it just blanks out after the splash screen and pops me back to the desktop ( so to speak ) The version I got working was just plain Kodi from kodi.tv ..

Any ideas why it dumps me back after the splash screen?
