For other videos, is with all sources.

All files tested through HDMI 1.4/2.0 And 1080P 60
All videos work XBMC struggling with high bitrate 95 plus 4k30/60.
three other players are fine except stock player has right black bar or bottom depending on format.

4k hdmi 2.0 Not working..But you can see it can starts to come on for a second then goes of.
This player can play ANY 4k video format i throw at it without issue lots of potential for R89 some more tuning and you will have a true 4k media device/TV box.

I did a quick check for how the videos run on this R89 box. I am aware that this is not the format you are looking for, but I will give a complete detailed description later. Since the box will not passthrough audio through my A/V receiver connected with HDMI, I connected the box directly to my 6 year old Olevia 1080P TV via HDMI. I tested with the latest nightly version of Kodi (XBMC), streaming from my Synology DS211J NAS using cat6 Ethernet cables. As you can see some of the videos play flawlessly, while others drop frames.

It plays 4k files much better than s802 even at this stage.
H265 1080P files are working sweet to...although they have speed issues as h265 isnt a rock solid encoding format yet.

Thx Oman im really impressed with 4k playback so far and the fact it can play H265 1080 is impressive to me.
Encoding some New 4k h.265 files to test but will wait for updates thank you.
Ive tested more than 30 files types from avi to m2ts all play perfectly will add a full list soon.

So are you stating that it do not support hevc high profile?nobody now can say if high profile will be in near future...i only know that h264 are high profile
