No worries - I have recovery back. Must have been a glitch in my SD card.
If you do uprate the ethernet buffers, I'll go back to your rom in a flash - no pun intended..

but then again web browsing is screaming down but aptiode and google play store downloads are slow so not sure if it nand issue or more bit confussed maybe because it 4am and I need sleep

here's my first Android release for ENY EM8 device.

Version 2014-09-03

- Kernel 3.10.53
- Rooted (SuperSU)
- Based on latest Amlogic SDK (2014-08-23)
- XBMC 13.2 included
- wifi/bluetooth/ethernet working
- real sleep

Download under Firmwares tab.

I need feedback. M8 device I have is older one.

Although no issue with installation the pre Installed xbmc keeps closing every time I try to launch. Going to try another xbmc and see what happens.

Edit:
XBMC for some reason didnt like the fact I had my setting set @ 720@60hz even though thats what my tv is. Changing to 1080/60hz seems to have resolved closing of xbmc issue.

Not following... Yahoo weather implementation is not part of sdk. What errors do you experience?

New firmware now has location which currently has New York as default but when you add your location it doesnt show anything else or acknowledge your location.

Hey, its still not perfect... Some locations are unknown for yahoo weather My location (Varazdin, Croatia) is shown...

Hey no problem... Just saw that was new feature in this but I dont really need it

Edit:
Just after a short time of using its feels more 'snappier' than usual

Great boot up very quick at start, and snappy
Installed a couple of weather apps one picked my location. (switched on location)

Sleep
Goes to sleep and wakes with remote
Using remote (one supplied with unit).
After wake remote would not respond with +/- volume, WiFi lost after wake, App store no response.
Then System locked up and started at MBOX logo and stayed there many minutes and booted.

Did a few time to confirm

He had a apk that could shutdown, reboot M8. No option for on here. So basically you just have to unplug it.

But so far everything else is working really well.

Stane, I did not do the power button fix. It was in ENY's last firmware. As I recall it was a .lib file that had changed (I did a kdiff3 between old and new ROM). Right now I do not remember what the lib file was anymore. But without their sources good luck!
