    Subtitles

When I watch a video with a subtitle in SW mode it is OK but in HW or HW+ mode subtitles blink. Anyone else has same problem?

I fully charged my P1 running Riley 1.6 this morning and just hit the power button to put to "sleep" (7:50am), just checked now 01:15am (following day) - 93% (That is with wifi off). I don't have 3g version to try any other test. WIFI would be less but I don't have a measure of that yet.

Is this multilanguage? What languages are supported?

giaur -- this is a modded Stock ROM. So - there are the languages that are already in the Stock version.

Thanks for response. I have question about battery. As I can see on this thread, if I drain battery to 0, tablet is bricked? Also if I use charger other than original, tablet is bricked too? It really sucks, is there any possibility to unbrick it in this case? What if I flash rom again, won't it help?

No it is not bricked. It has a weird behavior like it would be bricked, but leave it charging for at least 10 minutes unplug it from the charger and turn it on (hold the power a little longer) two times. The second time it will turn on as usual - then you can plug it back to charging.

Just to note. When I initially got the device it never showed it was charging when the charger was plugged in. now on Riley 1.6, the system shut down somewhere between 1-3% (after a massive 3 days uptime on and off wifi - I can't remember a device that did that for me before). Upon plugging in again now, I get the charging symbol.

An update on the lag for the tablet. I don't know if it related to my home (go launcher) or not, but there is definitely lag, i.e. on sliding both menus from the top, opening chrome and my young kids who have an ipad, noticed lag during their platform games (they are my ideal gauge of performance, they are very unforgiving on performance lag having grown up with ipad tablet, which to be honest I never see lag on).

As a main tablet, it's usable, especially based on battery experience (not sure that's a great endorsement though). My number 1 issue at present is the really bad speaker sound level (my dishwasher in the background makes it inaudible!)

Also, Elixr shows the processor running at 1.6. I'd love to see if Riley has a s/w fix for this.

SW solution for the audio was described a few times already. I will repeat it shortly :
                    Viper4Audio -> http://vipersaudio.com/blog/
Enable Advanced UI, then you have the options to additionally boost your speakers.
With Viper I can say that I am very satisfied with this Tablet.

I confirm that Viper does the trick on mine. I'm not getting lag at all running Apex Launcher.

Can I flash this rom on Linux? I have adb, fastboot and other tools installed and configured. There is some .exe file provided, so I assume I can't use fastboot to flash?

Will it work with I use fastboot to flash all .img files?

The ROM contains the ROM dump tool and a set of instructions.

Hello to everyone! Let me introduce myself... My name is Paolo, I'm 32 and I'm an Italian member. I'm new to the forum having just joined, but I've followed the forum for a long time, since I was interested in buying a tablet, and in particular the Pipo P1 3g. I've ordered it, a few days ago arrived, and now and I'm using it.
I had a few Android phones, but I'm a novice in flashing roms, in fact I have never done it . I have understand that Randy and his roms are much esteemed and well known! But before I try, I wanted to ask if Riley, in your latest release 1.6 for the P1 3g, the tablet can be used to make phone calls and send messages, using the 3g module built into the tablet ?
I apologize for my not perfect english language, and i'm happy to be a part of this "family"

I don't own the 3g version, but I'm pretty sure it is 3g data only. The same as all Rockchip based tablets. Pipo's T series has phone call functionality with MTK processors.
