I wonder if William will use Shaun's CM10, from Slatedroid. I guess Shaun took over from Christian Troy, and is currently compiling 4.1.2 for us.

          for CWM:

          Power button = main menu
Home button = up (or is it down?)
Menu button = Down (or is it up?)
Back button = execute menu option

            for me...
            Power button = does nothing

            Menu button = does nothing
Back button = down (I actually think this is the G-Sensor button?)

Try holding the 'back button' down or maybe press it a couple times...-maybe too light on the pressing? Dunno, never had that problem...

I have no idea, what to do. None of the onscreen buttons work in CWM, and only two of the four buttons on the side work, Home and G-Sensor(??)...when I press the Home or G-Sensor button several times (cycling through the main screen of CWM) it will tell me Back menu button enabled, and continue the process will eventually say Back menu button disabled...I have no idea what is going on here...wish I could use TWRP instead of CWM...

Does the battery charge level have anything to do with it?

EDIT: Will the 701i 10 support any other version of CWM, preferably and earlier version?

and you're SURE the back button doesn't work if you press it more than once or slightly more firmly? I noticed my back button doesn't work if I press it lightly. It actually acts 'differently' from when I press the home or menu buttons (I just tried it)....

Pretty sure I'll break the screen if I press any harder, lol

Well I am still on stock...haven't gotten very far :-/...once I got back into my tablet I installed the KK Romkit, opened the application and just chose Install CwM Touch...once it finished I chose to Reboot into CWM...that was when only 2 of the buttons would work and none of the on-screen. I mean I can press the on-screen and they will go red (from white) but they do nothing...can I flash an earlier version of CwM?

Not sure, but when I said start the process from scratch, I meant the WHOLE process from scratch-including re-flashing the stock ICS and then reinstalling the apk/CWM

On my 701c, the hardware buttons for CWM are :
Power button: brings you to the previous menu
                            Home button : up
                            Menu button : down
                            Back button : select/enter

I gave it a shot, and alas still the same issue...can anyone else help with this issue? Anyone else experiencing the same problems that I am experiencing?

I only have the 701C so I can't help too much other than to give you another CWM apk to try that had some success with gingerbread. Only thing that scares me about this one is that it doesn't look at the external sdcard for zips but it looks at the internal. You can try your luck with it though.

                                KKRomKit V1.22

*note even though I had success with gingerbread with this apk versus the other apk. it's not to imply that this does not work with ICS*
