Yes, it's being hard to do this. All my attempts are ending up with my screen flashing. Still working on it

-Raised tcp default buffers to improve streamings
-Removed some apps
-Changed mouse pointer
-Add petrus's reboot app
-Add apps, addfree, es file explorer, mxplayer, xbmc and youtube. All of them as user.
-Add AOSP Launcher
-Probably some other things i don't remember right now.

Thanks for the great work daemonium......very good rom but my box freezed 3-4 times during apk installs...... i am keep testing though because i love and admire your work!

Well, that's normal on first boot. Try to flash again and leave it fully boot. Look at the icons on launcher, it's finished when it flashes and all icons are there. Normally the xbmc is the last one to be installed and is the one causing that freeze. After that reboot and do normal use. You can also see sometimes an error (caused by gapps) but it's safe to ignore.

My mistake! Sorry! The box tested was a faulty one! On another box, this rom is great, and really fast especially on default 4.4 launcher. The main improvement i noticed, is that some billionuploads streams in xbmc that i was waiting for 10+ minutes to baffer 100% to start the movie, now the movie starts in 2-3 seconds!
For sure deamonium did a great work!
Now we are only waiting for TWRP or OpenElec for this box :-)

My mistake! Sorry! The box tested was a faulty one! On another box, this rom is great, and really fast especially on default 4.4 launcher. The main improvement i noticed, is that some billionuploads streams in xbmc that i was waiting for 10+ minutes to baffer 100% to start the movie, now the movie starts in 2-3 seconds!

Now we are only waiting for TWRP or OpenElec for this box :-)

Seems that stane's firmware's builtin "Movie Player" decodes DTS & AC-3(probably does downmixing), but still better than no sound.

hi guys, i was trying to port twrp to tv110 and it was being a little hard. so, i asked my team mate Abdul_pt for a little help. Now i have a working version of twrp for tv110 and also for s85 and MXQ. I figured out how to load it from sdcard, so yes, no need to flash.
Now i need a/some brave man/men to test this. I already flashed it on my tv110 , it looks like it's working backup, restore etc, but didn't test further.
Anyone?

HELP!!! flashed with Wrong ROM

Accidentally flashed TV110 with the wrong ROM. Now the only port that works it the Power adapter port. 1 light comes on. eth, usb, hdmi, AV.....dead.

Is there a way I can resolve this? there has to be a way to flash and boot up again. Otherwise I have a brand new paperweight.

I tried to install daemonium's modified stane's ROM on my Sumvision Cyclone X4 which is some kind of m201/S805 box http://sumvision.com/?p=product&id=549

I get the error E: failed to verify whole-file signature during the upgrade and it fails. I got the same error when I tried to root the box with Finless' easy root method.

After reboot, the box was stuck on the initial logo, but I recovered it with the stock firmware found here:

Can anyone help me root or upgrade this box? Is there anything else I can try?

Don't flash a rom on your box unless you know for sure it's exactly the same. Same soc doesn't mean same box, there must be some pcb differences.
