        Maybe something else.
        Anyone else tried this?

I flashed it to my X4 box and it works really well. XBMC is super fast compared to the Android version. The only problem I've got is that mini-display preview in LiveTV is not centred, but that's still not fixed in Kodi for Android either. It uses 14.0-beta3, and wifi, h/w decode, passthru, etc. are all working fine and the GUI is lightening quick. I haven't tried 1080p, but my tv is 720 so I don't care if it doesn't work. I need to do a bit more testing, but it seems great so far.

By the way, I used Daemonium's TWRP for the TV110 to flash the ROM

Yes, I've tried it (Openelec). It works good, but I didn't like 720p resolution, it would be ok if only menu would be 720p & it would do automatic resolution & framerate change based on video source.

Can you tell me how you flashed another firmware after OpenELEC? My box doesn't appear to have a reset button and there's no obvious way to get into recovery to flash something else. Do I need to create a bootable SD?

Yes, I created a bootable sd card, but you could try to login into the openelec box via ssh, then issue "reboot recovery" command.

Thanks for that, I tried reboot recovery and I get back to the android recovery. However, I think I'll stick with this OpenELEC build for a while as most things are working well including 1080p. The one thing that is annoying me is HDMI-CEC as the box turns off but not on: I'd rather just disable CEC for the box entirely.

                  1080p Openelec

You can change 720p framebuffer to 1080p in Openelec via a script that's run on startup:
Login through ssh, run the following command:
                  Code:
                   nano /storage/.config/autostart.sh
                  Copy the code below:
                  Code:
                  echo 1080p > /sys/class/display/mode
                  echo 1 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/freescale_mode
                  echo 0 0 1919 1079 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/free_scale_axis
                  echo 0 0 1919 1079 > /sys/class/video/axis
                  echo 0 0 1919 1079 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/window_axis
                  echo 0 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/blank
                  echo 1 > /sys/class/graphics/fb1/blank

I have instaled the version of openelec listed on this page to my tv-110 but can not conect to the internet making my box.... well useless as i can no longer boot to recovery to restore android ether

the box sees both the wired and wireless connections but wont conect to ether

any help on getting the wired or wireless to work or re flash android would be greatly apreciated

                    Thanks

Now i need a/some brave man/men to test this. I already flashed it on my tv110 , it looks like it's working backup, restore etc, but didn't test further.
