Hi Lepi. First of all thank you very much for your development and help. You did a great job ;-)

I tried your Recovery TWRP_2810_light_LEPI+newTheme.zip, it looks pretty nice and I love also screenshot possibility, but its not working very well :-/. I cannot wipe anything (especially dalvik), the recovery log give many errors and freeze - see attached screenshot.

And without using of theme have not tried? If you delete ui.zp from folder TWRP\theme? Try to do so.

I received a cube few days ago and prior to flash new roms, i want to make a nvram/imei backup, I read about MKT droid tools and this has hapend to me

"In MTK Droid tools, my device is detected, i get a value for IMEI 1, none for IMEI 2.
Although i can succesfuly get a root shell (the little square gets green), "IMEI/NVRAM" button stays greyed and i can't backup.
I also tried with terminal emularor + dd if=/dev/nvram of=/sdcard/nvram.img bs=5242880 count=1" but the systems says something that "is only a read memory folder"

I have IMEI backup done with Mobile Uncle Tools.
And I was thinking on Flash only Lepi´s TWRP at the begining
then make a backup of all and If all is ok, after that flash a new rom.
But I doubt if in this TWRP Backup would be a NVRAM copy, that I can use if necesary joint with Mobile Uncle Tools IMEI to restore in case of problems

I haven't been able to make a NVRAM back with MTKDroidTools either, so I'd be interested if anyone ever managed to do that.
I do have a nvram.bin from doing a full backup via MTKDroidTools but since it refuses to make flashable files as well, I have no idea what to make of it once I would need to flash it back as well.

For now I got a working TWRP so I think I am safe but yeah, what gives?

if you flash back the oldest ROM (ROM 1.1 or 1.3 I don't remember well), magically the IMEI number will come back again.

I think the underlying problem here is that MTKDroidTools cannot make a scatter file for my/our device. Without that you cannot prepare files for SPFlashTool/backup just NVRAM.

Finally I´ve flash Lepi´s TWRP and with it I´ve done a backup.
I´ve tried to make a complete Backup with MTK droid as well, I´ve done it, but imposible to transform it in flashtools backup mode ( I couldn´t find md5 file necesary for that) so I don´t know if it is usefull or not in case I could need it, at least there is a NVRAM.bin file in it. Any ideas why mtk is not working with us?.

I canot install your rom

Hi, my friends! I decided to make a mod 1.8.5 black standard theme. It turned out to 4PDA users prefer black theme than white.I'm still adherent light theme, but decided to publish their events and in black.
The list of changes is the same as in a light topic, so I will not describe it.

Installation Instructions: Only for installation through modrecovery CWM or TWRP!
Archive firmware to put in the root of the internal or external memory (can be in any directory with the Latin name). Boot into recovery. Make a backup of the current mandatory firmware better on an external memory card. Then make the necessary wipes tab ADVANCED:
1 Dalvik Cache
2 System
3 Cache
4 Data
5 Android Secure
Then select Install (TWRP), specify the path to the file to confirm the firmware and swipe process of firmware. Wait for a successful finish and boot the system. The first boot lasts long. Please be patient. Make settings by yourself.

I have not successfully install your firmware

This patch is only for installation using modrecovery (CWM or TWRP). Put this file in the root of the memory card and installed via recovery.
Extract from the archive and install framework-res.apk impossible. This can lead to system crash.
In any case it is necessary to make a preliminary backup system.

I tried to install the firmware through various options (via PC and via CWM / TWRP ) and unsuccessful .

Via PC have problems with the drivers and the PC does not recognize the tablet when it is off;
I tried to install the new version 1.8.5W with the original TWRP but crash or does not recognize the existence of the file of firmware. The CWM does nothing because it has no access to the root.
I've read the frektab forums and saw that the Lepi has done a great job but I have not successfully install your firmware.

How can I fix ?
What are the steps to install your TWRP in CUBE 9x does not yet have access to the root? Is necessary install the origonal TRWP?

I solve the problems with drivers with help of f1c. After flashed tablet by 900supersport, try install firmware of Lepi and... Everything OK!!!
I install several patch of Lepi. Everythings runs good... for now...

That's good you solved the problem. You should have little or no problems with this rom. I have been using it for my everyday rom with no issues.

I have some problems. I dont no if the problem is the new rom or of restore backup.
Problems:
1 - When switch on the tablet, apear the fallowing mensage: "Sorry, the Google partner setup was been stopped";
2 - Dont recognize the external disc in by USB OTG, but recgnize the external sd card;
3 - Maybe the process in switch on is more longer in load;
4 - When change font the latin charaters dont apears, but cirilic (russian) characters. I try whit 2ª font and the last font and the same problem.


Now, I have 6GB to aplications;
No chinese aplications;
No chinese logo;
A beautifull icons in configurations;
3G work fine;
GPS work fine;

I think the screentouch is more sensible now the touch, is it possible?

Ill give you more feedback...
