Boot into bootloader to get into recovery.

Hello guys, first of all thank you lapi for this nice Rom. I have one question. I installed everything and it is working well. I can get into recovery when I reboot from the runing rom. But when I try to get into recovery with powerbutton and + ore - at startup there are still the stock chinese letters. Any Ideas? Thank you.

You entered in Chinese Factory mode.
You confused the volume buttons. need to press Power and +Volume button.

I am sorry, Lepi of course. I just tried your advise but nothing happens with power and +Volume button.
the tablet won't turn on with this combination. It is strange ore did I missed to flash a file?

Try installing Quick Boot from playstore. This let's you boot to recovery from the tablet while it is turned on, without having to juggle with the buttons.
If it works you know its just your button technique that is letting you down.

I really like this ROM but I'm not a fan of the launcher or icon theme , is there a way I can get the original launcher and icons back as I used the google bar often and no offense but the icons are not my style ,

I don't own a computer , and I like the direction and features Lepi has in his ROMs except the launcher , I grew a custom to the stock look and feel ,

Lepi's v1.8.5B_en_141110 is slick

I'm om Lepi's v1.8.5B_en_141110 ROM now, and, among other positive attributes of it, the UI behaves as smooth as silk on my Cube (32gb, Black.)

But does this ROM provide correct battery percentage ( I.e no sudden drop from 30% to 0% in 5 mins) or staying at a certain percentage. Screenshot s attached
