    Hi all,

I installed CodeSnake 6.0.1 in a Vigica C70s device. It starts normally but freeze some time after Kodi getting up.

I'm using a SD Card with VITMOD 1.4 Kernel and Kodi 15.2 for months with no problem.

Exists some SDCard ready CodeSnake build for testing purposes?

    Regards.,

Alright, thanks for clearing it up. Hopefully you will find a good solution soon, will keep an eye on it.
In the mean time i tested Matricom gbox latest 1.2.2 firmware, but this one also doesn't work entirely correctly with AV output. So now back to original Mbox firmware which has problems of stuttering video from Kodi 15 onwards. Will see if i can fix that with some android config.
Btw noticed the AV output quality of your 4.2.1 is very fluffy compared to the AV image of original firmware, but i guess you already know that and is part of the problems you mentioned...

Both versions seems to do it perfectly fine on HMDI output, but when i connect the box with the AV output to an older TV i can't get an image (stays black or some flickering/looping image).
This issue is also mentioned on your issue site (nr 26: https://github.com/codesnake/OpenELEC.tv/issues/26). Someone there points to a matricom version (http://matricom.net/install-openelec-xbmc-g-box-mx2/), which in fact seems to be your version albeit older (4.2.1). This version indeed does work with AV and HDMI!
Can you please point me to instructions of how to get the newest 6.0.1 working with AV output or maybe you need to fix something which was broken somewhere between 4.2.1 and 5.0.3?

Here's some initial feedback on v6.0.1 on my MX2 and M8. First things first. Thank you codesnake. Both units upgraded directly from codesnake's v6.0 using tar file method.
MX2 works perfectly well. M8 has an issue when going through with the Shutdown procedure from within KODI. It shuts, and then comes back on. The second time I try it, it shuts properly. Also sound from the rear AV port on the M8 doesn't work. Other than that, I experienced no problems on both units connected via wifi.

Did someone compare Codesnake's and Kerber's build on the same HW... Whichone is better, what are the differences?

I might have spoke too soon - I tried the Codesnake/M8 version on MXiii with a wireless mouse to get round the no-remote issue and then it was just freezing. Anyway, I know there is one from kerber that works on MXiii 2Gb but I wanted to change to Codesnake's ROMs as I dont know how/where to get support for the kerber ROMs. Anyway, the one I refer to is here and you want the S82 version 6.0.0 and flash at your own risk etc etc. http://www.amlinux.ru/image/6.0.0/ Good luck !

codesnake I asked above if the M8 or T8 will work with MXiii and it does. I used the update by tar method so as not to risk bootloader/brick etc. The only issue is that the remote does not work and I tried copying my working remote.conf into the right "Configfiles" section but still no change. Do you know how I could fix this please as I would like to try your builds and it seems to work :-) I have the 2Gb version MXiii. Thanks.

Not to worry, I got it sorted. I had the right files, but it looks like my SD card wasn't working properly. I reformatted it using the official SD formatter and everything flashed as expected.

Thanks anyway. And thanks for the ROM.

From there, selecting install from EXT then sdcard doesn't work. I just get a page full of 'unable to mount' text.

    What am I doing wrong?
What files you have on your sdcard?

Hi I noticed the bluetooth on the M8 doesn't work, It seems to work when I use a usb dongle but says the bluetooth is disabled on reboot even though its not so needs manually disabled and enabled again.
I also noticed the kerber build of your openelec has onboard bluetooth working fine not sure if you could take the fix and add it to your main build, only reason I'm not using the kerber build is with the twitch addon the audio / video don't stay in sync.

here is kerbers github if that helps with the bluetooth fix https://github.com/surkovalex/OpenELEC.tv
