Scratch the ethernet not working, I had a faulty cable, so now working well.

After flashing the ROM I did then flash boot.img (which includes the kernel) and then resource.img from stock 110k and it boots fine.

Odd how it would not work when done all at the same time.

Now connect to PC stays on after a reboot.

Now power off works.

Uploading a file over ethernet also work(or slow) or only internet over ethernet working?

After a little testing I found:

General:

Ethernet not working.
Connect to PC in settings always defaults to off after a reboot.
After connecting to my PC once, google maps got removed after closing the connection.
Would like to see AOSP browser and bookmark sync included. They work fine after manual installation.
Power off just restarts the device. Have to pull the power lead to keep it off.

Nice smooth interface, with no lag.
WiFi is super fast
I like the solo launcher although it is super sensitive when moving icons around.
Some interesting new apps.
Security patches confirmed as being patched.

SPMC:

Works as well as tested with a previous ROM yesterday.

MX Player:

The best playback of the 4k eutlsat demo video yet.

Youtube:

Works perfectly with all HD and SD content.


More testing to come.

I can confirm that ethernet doesn't work for me either.

Can you or someone provide a 'dmesg'
In terminal app type 'su' then 'dmesg'
and also logcat from catlog app.
Try to copy/upload a file over ethernet when the problem occurs and afterwards get the logs.
Think it's a problem in the kernel and needs to be patched by Rockchip.

1. If you put this rom on ugoos UT3, I can easily go back to stock rom ugoos?
2. Such rom has root?
3.Youtube can 1080p?
I am a beginner (I'm sure there are many like me : O ) and I do not know if I can handle flash. If it was a video as a review, a lot of people were very happy.

Just flashed it as is and it does indeed work without any modification.

Surprised but pleased

Now to do some testing.

I did try the 8Gb parameter file as well but that didn't work, so will use a parameter file from another ROM and see if that will work.

Only the default 4GB parameter file works.
I also uploaded a 2GB one(for 8GB users).
Will also upload a 8GB one(for 16/32GB users)

Just use rom without any change of files... ressource or boot... I installed this rom on my r28 like that (don't forget to turn on lowerformat before flash rom).

@mo123... have you an idea to turn hdmi off ? thx.

well about time i said a bit mo.... im getting the crash problem....it could be the backup im using from another setup ?.... or i thought it could be the xml setting..... or wifi as i can install ok when wifi is off..... but once the crashing starts it wont stop.... i could do a video and send you a link but im sure you know what it would look like ?..... pinky....ps....im not so sure about all the apps you have loaded on.... i feel like im using someone elses computer.....and hate the launcher... the stock for me is fine....i use this box as a glorified xbmc player and want to play 4k streams in the near future....so im deleting most of your apps for my taste.... thats my taste not anything against you....my customers have laptops and pcs to do main things with.....pinky

I don't know about the crashing...?
If TWRP/CWM was working on RK3288, I could make a clean ROM and release an update for the apps, but it's not available.
It's very easy to remove the apps.
Most of the apps will be installed by most users anyway and doesn't slow the system down.
Also removed lots of Google and stock app bloatware.

Go in Android Settings, Home and change the launcher back to the stock one, easy.

IR Remote will only work with HPH and Ugoos UT3, you need to use your boot.img(with kernel) and also kernel.img from stock ROM if boot.img size is less than 2MB to make the remote work on other devices.

Followed the instructions, replacing the resource and boot images from the stock Tronsmart 110k4 ROM.

Flashed correctly but on restart it is stuck on the Tronsmart boot logo.

Try to format again and reflash.
If your stock boot.img is smaller than 2MB, you also need to flash stock kernel with stock boot.img and resource.img.

I Have test your rom now a bit and I like it much everything is super fast, I have tested spmc everything runs smoothly 1080p no problem but the only problem I have noticed it's digital Dolby sound 5/1 stuttering sound you may already know it

Either use SPMC with great playback or Kodi beta 1 PT with playback problems but working passthrough.
SPMC will only be upgraded to Kodi when final Kodi Helix is released and then PT will also work.
Unfortunately we have to wait.

First, thank you mo123 for this rom. I installed it on my Beelink Ubox, the 8 gig model, and it installed perfectly.

I have only just begun to test it, so I will know more later. The first thing I tested was SPMC for the echo effect, and it is still there, but not as noticeable, but still there. The fast forwarding is working the best I have every seen on XBMC/Kodi with these Android boxes. I tried with the different hardware acceleration settings, but no help. Also, live TV streaming works for the SD channels, but not the HD channels.

A couple of items that have been removed is the email app, and I really use that. Google mail is not my primary email program. Also, I have become very used to the stock web browser, and you have replaced it with Dolphin browser, which is a very good browser, but us old people hate change. Haha.

It is very fast and smooth, Netflix gets to it's top speed (still DVD quality) in 23 seconds which is very good. Droidmote server works well.

The stock camera app is removed, but I use a different app anyway, and it works well. Have not tried it with Skype.

All in all, a very nice rom.

there seems to be a ethernet connection problem mo.... wifi is fine.... down with cable is fine.... up with cable is less than 1.... should be 11 ish.... spent last hour testing between windows pc and box.
