It's the button called 'lowerformat' on the first tab of the flash tool.
It will erase your whole ROM and it won't boot until you reflash the firmware.

Connect OTG cable to box and PC.
Hold paperclip/toothpick into reset hole while connecting the power to box.
It should now connect. If not reinstall the drivers and try again.

    For single Image flash method
    1. Unzip with 7z
    2. Run mkUpdate.bat in rockdev folder to combine all the separate images into a single flash-able image.
    3. Use the second tab of AndroidTool v2.3 to select the Image from 'Firmware' button and click 'Upgrade' to flash the ROM.
You can also select different parameter files for user space eg. 4GB, 8GB, just rename the parameter file to the same name as the default one before making your single Image file. Default is also 2GB.
eg. rename rk3288-3.10-uboot-data4G.parameter.txt to rk3288-3.10-uboot.parameter.txt to have 4GB space for apps.

    Multiple Image Flash method
    1. Go to first tab of AndroidTool v2.3
    2. Make sure all the entries checkboxes are checked and the filename paths are the same as in the rockdev folder.
    3. Uboot, userdata and backup should be unchecked.
    4. Click lowerformat to wipe(Erase IDB in old Rockchip v1.37 Tool) your device clean.
    5. Click run to flash your device.

Maybe you need to erase IDB, to completely erase the EMMC space.
Then flash the ROM again, but use the parameter file from the 32GB model(not that it should make a difference).
If you flashed the separate images, also try to flash a single image with the steps provided.

A little question about screensave feature... Is it present on this rom? or is it possible to activate feature?
    Thx.

Maybe your camera issue will be solved, since there will be new firmware next week to fix USB camera issue.

Maybe someone can compare the HPH and M8 build.prop files to see if there is an extra setting in M8 maybe. Don't know a lot about making apps compatible.
