    You guys are asking too much for a first ROM.
    Zoom? I mean come on that is total custom code for input.so

    BUT the good news is I have gotten back up to speed making All Winner ROMs now. Took several hours to update my tool set.

    So expect a Finless 1.0 ROM soon. Maybe this weekend.

        I use xposed modules.. Root obvs required. However. With gravity box module installed I have a custom setting for allowing my mouse scroll wheel to act as pinch to zoom. Super fkin handy for reading Web pages on a big screen from far away . Bluetooth mouse FTW.

          I will investigate this xposed module. But I usually don't like to add other peoples code without permission.

            Just to add, NONE of the All Winner ROM making topics apply to this new box.
            Well some do... Dumping is NOT one of them that work but I figured it out.

            I also now think I can make a update.zip rather than force you guys to use the SLOW ASS Phoenix flash tool... Did I say it was slow? YES IT IS SLOW! Takes for ever to make a ROM and test it!

            So what do you all think?
            Flash tool ROM style or update.zip style?

            I wont do both.

                  can you test whether this works whit a 3TB Hdd on SATA or external as USB drive? Would be very interested if there is finally a box can recognize the 3TB hard drives and more completely.

                        Bob, I've just ordered mine via Geekbuying. Early Xmas, or whatever...Will share my impressions when I can. Greatly encouraged by your reactions, and delighted that you've already embarked on Finless One.

                        Eric - anything you can do to expedite my order much appreciated.

                        I'm not expecting too much from the factory Android it will ship with, especially if it only has a 720p kernel. But we'll see... A Linux img has been signaled for end-November, which holds some promise.

                        Auto-refresh rate switching such as Minix beta 9.2 or OpenElec offer, would make a large difference to video playback.

                          One more on board

                          As soon I had read the good comments from Bob I did order one as well for me; hopefully Geekbuying (Eric) can help to expedite the shipment. This device looks like the greatest news on TV boxes world; waiting anxious as well for the higher 4G Ram/32 Gb Nand be on stock to order one more if this.

                          Edit: I vote for "update.zip",IMHO it´s the easier and friendly way.

                            I vote update. Zip the more flashing I can do from the box hooray

                            And the Dev of Xposed designed it for people to add pieces of framework from one ROM to another. Very cool stuff.

                              Flash is always better then even the rk flash much faster and allows for install without pc if you can't get windows to see the device.

                              Yours always rock solid Bob.
                              Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.
