The link to 1.9 is in post #60. Use the 3G version. It will work on both 3G and wifi models.
I forgot all about the problem with the wifi ROM.Randy

OK, everyone...let's forget messing with v1.9. I've found a new firmware version to work with and I made v2.0.
I've been testing it and it works great. But it's pretty bare bones. Some apps are missing...like Camera and Exchange Services. But I've added Google Play Store (which was also missing).
I will be adding more apps to this new ROM as I get them gathered up.
Here is the new thread for v2.0

Alarm Help

I have an alarm question. Last night...for the first time, I tried to set an alarm. If the screen was on...then the alarm would work. However, if the screen was off, the alarm never went off. I think is has to do with deep sleep.
Example: Alarm set for 9:45pm
When I first wake the tablet up after the alarm was supposed to have gone off, the System clock on the Lock Screen shows past the alarm time (9:50pm). In the drop down notification window the alarm button is shown. When I drag down the notifications, the alarm says it going off at 9:45pm and the secondary clock in that same notification panel shows 9:42pm (when I closed the tablets cover.
Is this a known issue, a one of a kind issue. and id10t error on my part? Is there something in developer options that needs to be able to keep the tablet from deep sleep when an alarm is set?
Kind of at a loss. Oh, and I tried the clock alarm, smart alarm free and another random alarm app from the play store.
Any help would be appreciated.

That's something I've never tried to do, since I always use my smartphone as my alarm.
I will need to do some testing to see what the problem is...but since deep sleep is SO important to most users, I've tried to maintain or enhance the deep sleep features.Randy

Did the other alarm clock apps not work, either?
I do know that there are several 3rd party alarm apps that defeat the deep sleep feature...but they do burn a lot of battery. I was using one on my phone and had to delete it because I wasn't getting a full day's charge out of my battery. That fixed the problem, though.Randy
