AC3 and DTS sound issue is fixed. I uploaded the new 2.0.9a. Because i don't want to bump the release, so the new FW still has 2.0.9a

Please download and flash it again.

Wasser the issue I was having with plex not being able to play AC3 and DTS returned with firmware 2.09a

Update: 2.09 has the same issue too. Back to 2.08 for me.

AC3 and DTS sound issue is fixed. I uploaded the new 2.0.9a. Because i don't want to bump the release, so the new FW still has 2.0.9a

Please download and flash it again.

Update: 2.09 has the same issue too. Back to 2.08 for me.

FFMPEG removed DTS/AC3 support in new versions because of license issues.
So only way to play DTS/AC3 is to use MXPlayer with patched ffmpeg codec from now on.

Thank you Wasser for your great firmwares, without them I would have thrown my Tronsmart R28 out of the window.

I got an issue with the latest firmware.

I am using Plex and with the last firmware I can't direct play any video that has AC3 or DTS audio.

The plex server has to transcode the audio track. And if I force direct play from plex settings, it just plays the video without sound.

With previous versions of your firmware it worked fine so it must be something you changed in firmware 2.0.6.

hello, i got 1 android r89 box, everything is fine but there is one thing when you are in the application , and occasional judder, the 2nd is that it has no dts 5.1 sound, i hope beelink remedy this error upcoming updates (

Does the stock remote work on this version? Also how is the youtube performance? Im on 2.0.7 and the video stutter on youtube are very constant. Every other video its very minimal except youtube.

the stock ir remote for R89 is full supported. tronsmart's ir-remote wont work and wont be fixed in the future. I dont recommend to buy tronsmart products and i wont support any tronsmart products in my Firmwares.

to your problem with youtube, maybe it's network issue in your setting. Please check your network route
