I returned to offical rom (Tronsmart_Orion_R28_111k4_20150115). Because everything unstable. Even now I can not listen to MP3. Constant interruption. No video. No Mx player (with custom codec)
    Sometimes very very slow device.
I will miss the 1080p Youtube and Google certified (Nexus10) features.
Nevertheless, Thank you so much for everything.

    Sorry for my English

Maybe a interim solution is to install 'Volume Locker' from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...b.volumelocker to prevent use of max volume

I forgot to mention a step in recreating the muting bug. The Android audio has to be set to max. It seems that if the Android audio is not set to max the bug may be fixed. I'm testing that now.

    Yes...
It appeared again yesterday nigth (after 4 days)...
I will try with the volume...

However, it is still a rare thing for me and something that I can easily live with.

In terms of being able to recreate it in a specific manner I cannot as it is totally random.
I agree. It seems like it's a max audio bug that causes it.

Nope. Changing that setting doesn't stop the enter key from being recognized as left click. This issue is present in all builds.

Thanks! I set 3 of my 4 Tronsmart R28s this way. It shouldn't take long to see if it works.

I think that this could be the problem that we face (random mute or white noise).

To all you guys that have the same problem please disable the frame rate sync from android and spmc and give it a try.
I change it for the weekend and since then the issue wasn't appeared again.

    I use wasser 2.0.8 with spmc 14.02.
my connectivity is Tronsmart R28 meta -- HDMI 2.0v cable --> AV Receiver (Philips) --HDMI cable 1.4v --> TV (Philips Cineos)

You can also get little inline boxes that do this for you

I know you can inject or spoof a fake EDID. Im pretty sure its and EDID detection problem because if i move the box to another tv it will mute and if I change input on my amp and then back to the box I lose sound until I go back to the sound settings

    Hi Wasser

The guys from Open hour discovered the below:

    Edit:
    - HDMI Bitstream doesn't have sound or getting white noise. After investigation, we found out this happen to DTS/DTS-MA HD/AC3 when Frame Rate Sync option is enabled. It happen in both Native Player and SPMC as well.

We found out when frame rate sync try to switch the HDMI output, it could cause HDMI bitstream lost audio sometime. Already feedback this issue to Rockchip.
