I will be 100% honest with you. I am not sure how much farther I can go on this project. I am sorry.
I will continue but using other ROMs, while it fixed or helped the AV sync issues, I cannot fix some of the other issues related to the kernel!

WE NEED A FREAKIN KERNEL FROM UGOOS!
EVERYONE BUG THE HELL OUT OF THEM FOR IT!

I doubt that ugoos making the firmware themselves... And every firmware costs them to make/update. Let's hope the best from MK802 III firmware after it's released

I also looked at those MK802 III pcb pics. It does indeed look like the same wifi chip RTL8188.
So Bob don't lose hope on us. I'm sure you will get a sample device if you don't have one in the mail already. Lets pray that Rikomagic has made improvements on the firmware. This is our only hope OB1.

Bob gota question for ya. Do you know a dev named Christian Troy at dragondevs.
I've been doing research on tablet devices that are 3066 rockchip. Seems he has done some kernel work. Maybe he would be of assistants with the kernel. Or anybody that has kernel tweaking special talents?

I'm hoping that this just means that you are going to put out a 1.4.5 rom with all of the tweaks and extra trimming that you have found since 1.4. We can then keep an eye out for potential vid/wifi fixes as they come. If we're lucky we'll see a new factory firmware or compatible firmware and put 1.5 back on the table.

I would hate to see all the fixes that you have come up with since 1.4 go to waste. I'm also anxious to see Tattman's finalized boot ani live and in living color on your new rom.

I did that yesterday. It is called 1.4a I just updated my 1.4 ROM post.

I did update the build.prop forcing gpu to do the work and we still have the sync issue (USING 1.4)

i have noticed also that netflix works perfect with the sync.


things to be added, add a tuned host file to avoid advertisments.

after testing every rom out there i would still like to see some work on this one. ;-) for me it felt quite smoother compared to the others. would only need some fixes like the right mouse button to catch up with 1.4a. ;-)

ps: i know about the difficulties hunting down the mouse buttons... :-)
