Updating T9 firmware

Hi,
I'm getting my T9 tomorrow, yey
I saw that Firmware 1.04 is out, but I have no idea how to upgrade.
The device is not rooted, so how does it work?
Help would be greatly appreciated!

If the update is like other phones in the system update option in the settings there should be an option called local update.

Basically you just copy the update.zip file to the root of the storage card and use that option.
That should do the trick.

Just make sure you remember what the steps are to change the language back to English because chances are after the update it will reset to Chinese.

I think it is in Chinese. Makes it a bit difficult for an Alabama boy!

It updates to 1.03 OTA! Sweet!

U downloaded updated by OTA...? You can change the language in setings menu (swipe down in right uper corner and choice a icon of Rack)... then look for icon with letter A - under padlock... first on the list is the choice of language....

Build Quality is terrible

I must give out a warning to everyone thinking about ordering the T9.

1. It is very heavy, much heavier than anything else I've used.
2. The build quality is poor. When you touch the screen you hear plastic noises, as if the screen and case don't fit together well. The screen is pressed down against the case and it makes small poping noises that are extremely annoying. it is similar to low quality laptop keyboards that bend inwards. it is really annoying it is not a small matter, it just feels awful and cheap. THe noises also occur when you pick it up, or move it.
3. The screen is not smooth enough to the touch, and is not responsive like other Tablets. I did remove the plastic sheet.

I'll keep updating. Anyone else noticed these problems?

BTW, Chrome works.
