Hello again folks!
I am back with a new ROM for the MK808.
This was made using the latest Jellybean ROM for the MK808 released 10/26 (today) by the manufcaturer!
Special thanks to Geekbuying.com for pressing on the manufcaturer for a better ROM and an update for the MK808!
Well I also think I made this ROM even better! But only you guys will let me know if that is true
WARNING! If you read nothing else READ THIS!
On this kernel the reboot APP is causing Cache or file system corruption! This is not the reboot APPS fault. This is intermittent. Sometimes it works OK sometimes not.
The kernel is NOT properly processing the reboot command and is corrupting file systems!
SO DO NOT USE REBOOT from the reboot APP! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
All other functions seem to be OK except reboot.
In fact the unit WILL power off believe it or not using the power off command!
If you use reboot and are stuck on the boot screen or boot logo, you will have to reflash the ROM.
We will work on seeing if we can fix that later but I believe it is a kernel problem.
The other kernels do not have this problem.
Features in 1.5 ROM:
1) Fully rooted with the latest SU and SuperUser.apk
2) Debloated of China and other junk APPs.
3) Special add for this ROM. Full init.d support! If you do not know what that is... ignore it.
If you do, you can now install and use boot time scripts like V6 Super Charger!
4) All APPs are up to date as of 10/26/2012! So you will not get any Google Play APPs needing updates.
5) I added the RKlauncher and RKSetting like the MX1 and UG802. So you now have a choice of which launcher you want to use! You will get asked which launcher to use on first boot.
6) Cleaned up the file system so it is not fragmented! Basicly I used linux tune2fs when making the images.
7) I added a reboot APP that will allow you to reboot the device from the Android UI. No more unplugging the unit! It will also allow you to reboot to ROM flash mode and later when I add ClockWork Mod, it will reboot to recovery. READ THE WARNiNG ABOVE! This kernel has a reboot issue!
8) ADDED BONUS User APP space by default is only 1.5GB. I have increased that to 2Gig.
9) The Xbox XPAD.KO module is now injected on boot. This was by request! Enjoy!
10) I noticed the wifi would constantly DROP to 5mbps. Similar problem with previous MK808 ROMs.
I THINK I have fixed that in this ROM! My testing shows it will still drop but the minute you
start transfering things over Wifi, my patch now kicks back up the speed. It would not do that before.
So Again my testing show I fixed it but only you users can tell me for sure.
Wifi seems always to be an issue for many with many variables involved!
11) 3 kernels to choose from! The original MK808 kernel from 9/12 which is said to have better CPU control, The Geekbuy ROM 9/20 kernel, and the new 10/26 kernel from this new ROM. By default I setup the tool to use the new 10/26 kernel.
But if you want to try the 9/12 or 9/20 kernel simply click the little box to the far right of the kernel line in the flash tool.A file dialog will open and navigate to the FinlessROM folder and select the 9/12 or 9/20 kernel.
Note: you DO NOT have to erase everything to flash just the kernel! Simply unselect everything in the tool except the kernel. Reboot to flash mode and flash just the kernel!
Is that simple to change kernels or what?

Here is my Finless 1.5 MK808 ROM:
ROM -> MK808 Finless 1.5 ROM with init.d, fixes, etc! (244 megs)
