so could you say it's a hardware problem then if it works for you? I really want that port to work :/

EDIT: LOL, I just connected my 4-1USB HUB to that USB port and it powers it up, and connected the air mouse receiver to the hub and it works... very strange! but when using receiver alone on that port won't work.

EDIT2: just tried with a external harddrive and it WORKS too.. haha

Yes, it's strange. I can only use my hdd on that port. Everything else either doesn't work or just lits up the device led indicator.

ok anyway no big deal then as it works, just thought of having the mouse receiver there as I won't remove it and it's easier to access the other USB when I want to connect something but I'm fine with it now

Are you sure you did both things in "Languages & input": ticking the checkbox and setting it as default (few items above the checkbox)?

will it be further improvement of the WiFi speed in future do you think? I don't know how good or bad the WiFi chip in these boxes are, but I have 100/100 mbit/s connection and just a couple of centimeters from the router I get about 70/70 mbit/s with my box, but with my Samsung Galaxy S5 I do get 110/100 mbit/s, problem is when I move away from the router it does get worse for the HPH box, is there anyway to improve the signal? I use a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 with DD-WRT so it's nothing wrong with the router

EDIT: I went for a wired connection instead on the box and do get full speed now

anyone else having problems with Sopcast force closing? installed latest version same problem, when loading the stream it just FC's, no problem with that on my Galaxy S5...

edit: after I removed it couple of times and installed again seems to be working now.. hmm.

Hi mo123.. I know my device is not right for this tread but i hope you can help me Wanted to upgrade my rikomagic to your new version, and i have been running your 1.2 ROM with succes since i used my own boost.img from stock..

but on this ROM it do not work.. Almost all apps shuts down when opens and for some reason the ROM is not even rooted. (I can root it with towelroot app that you have incl.) but still the apps do not work as i opens them..

Then i flash the device with your updated boot.img but then wifi and Bluetooth do not work ( but the apps does) but the ROM is still unrooted and i need internet to root the device.. Is there anyway that you can make a boot.img that works for my device? Because i cant seems to get your ROM to work without it..

You have to flash your kernel.img & resource.img from stock ROM, then wifi will work.
Use the flash tool, 2nd tab to unpack your stock ROM.

But if i uses my stock kernel i wont get the nfs support.. And all the goodies you have incl. Into it.. And on the last build ROM of yours it worked with only the boot.img from stock.. But i guess i will have to wait for rikomagic to come with an update and then see if it works with yours.. Was hopning that a modifyed stock boot.img would do the trick

Just post device info, there are lots of Rikomagic boxes.

Bluetooth Chip?

Think Rikomagic released new firmware recently, but not sure for what devices.

It fixes SPDIF passthrough support and has only basic apps included.
If you want all previous apps and no fix for SPDIF passthrough support, it's better to stay on v1.3 ROM.

well i beg to differ on the wifi thing.... working very well here..... i think you need to give more info.....who is your isp...... do they block in any way ?
