    Dear Friend Bob,
You have here, in Lisboa, Portugal, one more friend satisfied and happy.
My MK808 is yet naked but alive again.
The more dificult was to find the space betwen the 8 an 9 pins.
    Ok its done
    Thank you very much.

    Things gone wrong again.
    sudenly stoped booting.
When I try to use your tool to Erase NAND IDB I get always "ERROR download boot failled".
    Why?
I noticed that there is a ? in the RK30 device driver in device manager.

It is rare MK808 breaks off a usb port as they are mini-USB not micro.

I still think your having some kind of USB issue with your PC! We have seen this before.
If you know how to go into your BIOS make sure USB is not set to "high speed" and is in compatibility mode. If that does not work then, you may have to try another PC.

I didn't get that from your instructions.
I understand that you should plug only the OTG port and the unit get the power from that.

Should I plug the power supply?

tried to change the usb cable also.

    I've noticed a new detail:
On the Flash tool bottom, the "No Found RKAndroid rock usb" change to "Found RKAndroid MaskRom Rock Usb" when i plugged my mk808 using the 8-9pin short on the NAND chip.

    What does "MaskRom" mean?
How do i change it to "Loader Rock" as i belive requierd following the instruction on the readme file.

    dude.

    Is this really matters?
    Is this a voodoo thing?

Is anyone know to say from the log what seems to be the problem?
