Cheers Bob - back to standard launcher. Feel more at home and know where things go

Can't get the bluetooth to switch on though, so still struggling with getting any gamepad to work with it. But will persevere.

        Hi.

I installed this new version. Everything went ok. I tested it for two hours and it worked smoothly.

I tried to play a big video file with XM player, the MK808 freezed and I had to disconnect the power supply. Now it doesn't boot up. It shows the loading screen forever.

        Has anyone experienced the same?.

I launched Modern Combat 3, he is running very well but i have to found a real playable solution with pad, cause i made some test with a simple mouse usb connected.

I found this solution with psx3 pad and sixaxis controller, im going to see if i can find a someone giving a pad for while for some test

But if anyone knows other solution with a another pad or the way to emulate usb pad or keyboard and mouse

ive just watched a whole half an hour online tv with no drop outs , Amazing! now just to fix the actual signal strength with some hardware mod.
Thank you for the script and ROM!
How easy would it be to remove an aerial i have from a n class router and solder it on to the mk808?

As I can read, there are some people who has some troubles yet. Why don´t we write down which devices are we using attached to MK808 (manufacturer and model)?. Hub USB, power adapter, USB to ethernet device, wifi router, keyboard-mouse, etc.

I think it´s the only way to have everything working fine for all of us.

                      Thanks.

                      I my case...
                      HUB USB with 3A power adapter: Lindy USB 2.0 Desktop Hub 7 Port, 480 Mbit/s, 1.5 m, USB 2.0, 5V DC, 3A
Power adapter: Stock one (2A) and HTC Diamond 2 1A adapter
USB to ethernet device: Logilink UA0025C 10/100 - Módem
                      Wifi router: Cisco EPC3825
                      Keyboard-mouse: RT-MWK06[Wireless 2.4Ghz]

Problems with Wifi yet and USB to ethernet not working. Keyboard mouse with dongle in hub not working smoothly.

I still use the standard 2A charger (which is crap so I've ordered a new one), but I use a high speed usb cable (same as in PS3) and that helped, as the stock cable is a joke (just like the charger). I have only a usb stick plugged in (otg) and the RC11 keyboard+mouse on a long dongle as it interfears with the build in wifi (same 2.4Ghz freq). Hope that helps

An alternative way to power the mk808 is to use the service port on the back of your hd tv. i am not sure of the voltage and amps but it is convient for poering off the mk808. When you turn your tv off with the remote it turns off your mk808.

                              Hi Bob,

just wanted to say Thanks for your 1.5a ROM.
This one is really the very first working ROM for me and you have prevented me from throwing that thing to the trash.
I was installing and playing for atleast 2 hours without any problems.
                              Great work!

My only problem ist the input device. I can't handle my RC11, thats crab. Does anybody have a better device? Logitech K400?

                                wifi woes

Everything seems good for me except the wifi. My original numbers on 1.5 would drop t 1mbit etc so it might not be a great comparison lol. I'll do some monkeying around but for me it's only moderately better in that I stay around the 12-18mbit range ... it starts at 65mbit and drops of to 24 then 18, then 11 then back up to 18 etc. I'm using a 5.3v 2000mA adapter and it's better than it was but I just can't get it to stay at a decent rate. That being said the signal strength is horrible for some reason (other devices show great signal strength in the same room)

Either way the rest of the image is looking great so far!!
