Hey guys, Long term lurker here, been using this firmware on my All black mxq for quite a while, can i just ask what changed re Remote control config from 6.0.1.1 to 6.0.1.2 test versions? The reason i ask is everything runs perfectly on 6.0.1.1 and 6.0.1.2 seems faster to boot for me the only issue is the power button on the remote no longer powers up from standby, all other functions of the remote are excellent even pressing the power button to switch the box to standby, the power button just wont wake the box now and have to pull the power and reinsert to boot upMany thanks for your work my friend it knocks socks off the standard android for me

The MK808B+ is not recognized in the TV's device list. It may also be the cable. I bought one that was specifically labelled as "HDMI CEC", but i have no way of testing if it really works.

Hi Guys,
I have been using HD18Q build 6.0.1.1 on my own box without any major problems. A couple of friends have the same box which was purchased at the same time from SZ Tomato. I have been trying to install the build on their boxes but for some reason when powering up the box using the toothpick method it won't install Openelec all the happens is the Android man appears but resets the box to factory settings instead of installing the Openelec software. Out of the 6 boxes I have tried I have only been able to install it on 2 of the 6 boxes even though all boxes are the same. Would there be any reason for this or any advice anybody could give? Thanks.

I had the same problem with my box. Try to boot your box using the toothpick method, but without the sd card instaled. Your box may boot to the recovery. Then you insert the SdCard, and select to install the bootloader from SDCard.
If you don't get the recovery using the toothpick method, you have to use an external recovery, such as TWRP..

I had some issues using different micro sd cards using adaptors, like twrp would boot from a 2gb sd but not from a 8gb sd, and recovery would not boot from a 2gb sd but would from a 8gb sd

Hi kszaq,
I just tried to use my bluetooth headphones, they were found, but after 'Connect' it returns some protocol error and no audio is being routed to the headphones.
After some research I found this:
As I only require Stereo output, would it be a lot of work adding PulseAudio builds so that bluetooth audio devices can be used?
Thanks!

kszaq Is it possible at all one day to get the audio coming out of the AV port *as well as* out of the HDMI ? I ask this as would be nice to route sound directly to home-cinema system and/or to be able to use it with a TV with no HDMI, just a DVI and Audio connector. I'm not sure that even works on Android.
