Ainol Windows 8.1 Mini PC deserves a separate thread, because it uses the Intel Z3735D processor which has native USB 3.0 support.
The USB 3.0 port will probably offer the possibility to exploit the full potential of Gigabit Ethernet adapters, mechanical hard drives and USB 3.0 Flash Drives, which could be important especially in the case this device would be also used as a NAS.
PROS: USB 3.0 port, built-in 7000mAh battery, elegant design.
CONS: Probably inadequate cooling due to design, lack of Ethernet port.
Since adding a USB 3.0 Hub and a Gigabit Ethernet adapter will increase the total price considerably, I think that PiPo X7 with a custom heat sink and a price close to US $100 probably remains the best choice overall.
It will be nice to find out more information about Ainol Windows 8.1 Mini PC and its performance when it will be generally available and thoroughly tested.
