ALso make sure you close dolphin and get the prompt to close! I find setting to clear the cache on close clears problems without having to reinstall.
Another thing you can do is go into manage apps, click on Dolphin, and clear data.

Okay, i already had clear cache on close done. I deleted firefox and dolphin both and then deleted any files on the sd card with file expert. I then reinstalled dolphin and will try that,. As for the flash i removed flash 11.0 and installed 10.2 from arctablet wherr can i get 10.3? I really do not want to factory reset if possible, reinstalling all the apps area pain.just could not figure why flash would not recognize and play those vids, thanks

I installed the V1.3 Custom Rom on my Arnova 10 G2(4GB) and can confirm that the installation was trouble free(thanks to your good instructions) and the Tablet seems to run a lot smoother and faster. I have not encountered any issues to date.

Here is flash 10.3 that I know works on the Arnova line. Watch out for other version of 10.3.

Also some .ro files get replaced when you install 11.x so you may need to reflash to fix this anyway.

my 10 g2 has developed a camera fault , blank screen. can anyone tell me the quickest way to reflash to stock rom prior to returning it?

Thanks i replaced the flash player with 10.3, when i reflash will i lose my installed apps and do i remove the sd card? The new rom was working fine untill recently, the unit is so much faster than before.

FYI, Since replacing 11.0 with 10.3 the tablet's performance is like night and day. Smoother, faster, all vid support, and no freezes! Thanks again.

Hi Bob,

Instaled the rom, looks and feels quick.

Just found 1 issue. When i change the locale, most things do not change, all the menus, the icon names, the keyboard(except the space key) remain in english.

I did find that the market changed to Thai.

Any ideas?

Not sure why this happens I tried it on my Sony Xperia Android phone and all the settings menus change to a different language and all the system app icons change language as well.

As for the keyboard install a replacment like GoKeyboard or Swiftket tablet x(They are working on that language now!) to get thta language on your tablet

Odd, I just tried it and changed to spanish and eveything changed for me!
Don't just change the locale also change the language and keyboard setting.

Hi, first post here. I want to get one of these tablets and I am very confortable with flashing new ROMs so Finless's ROM seems an ideal improvement. I guess it is compatible with both 4 & 8gb models? My main question is - I understand there are lots of apps available in the market once the ROM has been flashed but could some kind person check to see if the following two are there as they are pretty critical to whether I will purchase or not:
Autoproxy (paid or lite)
Kids Place

Finbaar,Both apps are there (and paid and lite versions of autoproxy).As a backup - you can download ES Explorer, make a backup of the apps, then email those .apk files to yourself (or copy them off your SD card). I've done that with the Philly newspaper apps (which are proprietary and not available in the market) and just sideloaded them after I flashed Finless' ROMGood luck!

After much consideration and research i finally took the plunge and installed 1.3, thanks to some excellent work from finless, all went without any problems.

I can report that it seems to be a big improvement over stock firmware. The speed and response times are much better and no longer seem to get the same tap delays i had with stock.

Its a shame arnova are not releasing any fixes for stock issues which we have like flash 11 support and the location bug, hopefully this wont take too long.
