ROM work for Archos 80 Cobalt?

Have you found the wifi chip on the board? Just wondering what it is to see if it might have Bluetooth builtin to the chip. If not then is there any space inside the casing that we could possibly solder on a bluetooth chip onto? The pinouts for the microusb could possibly be used to solder on a usb bluetooth (poundworld) dongle which has been cracked open.

Hello everyone
Hoping someone can help. Despite posting the original backup instructions on xda-developers I managed to lose my own backup.... unfortunate as due to a typo today I wiped the full flash of the tablet! Not the biggest problem because I can restore almost all the partitions using the backup zip posted over at XDA however it does not contain the section 0x0000 through 0x2000.
So i was hoping somebody with this tab on linux could run rkflashtool r 0x0000 0x2000 > parameter and upload the file for me so I can recover my tab? If you would like I can donate you some hosting space for ROMs or whatever

Also - find attached dmesg boot (from when it worked!!!) dmesg.txt
Can see WiFi chip is RK901 - no bluetooth. RK903 is the bluetooth model.
Also some more interesting stuff - two framebuffers. have successfully ripped today rgb32 - although second framebuffer was empty of data. possibly for an hdmi connection??
I am working on building a kernel and cyanogenmod - I got a completed build today but havent been able to test it as I just said, bricked the full thing like the dafty I am . Fingers crossed.
have enabled multi display on it to see what happens!

Thanks so much for the work you are doing here and the ROM and evryone else doing other complicated "stuff"
I've managed to root and get this ROM on my tablet, works great and good to see more apps now available
I also had to edit that settings.ini file to get the tool to recognise my tab, don't know what the changes did exactly??? But they worked
Thanks again
