i did had to un install the old version due when i did try to open gets crashing

i like the scrolling but it does not feels natural the infinit scroling going back to the first section, it shoul continue to the first section and not fly back. also enable a botton in setting to enable or not the using scrolling not every body likes it.

and the fade effect of the icons. i think the fade out of the icons shouls start asap when you click the button of change the section. and not wait untill the section scrols finishes.

drag and drop killer.

the launcher can be set as default is working. it will be good to add a bottom in the settings menu. to make tv launcher default launcher if other its selected as default.

Welcome to the forum hallor.

I've fixed scrolling, it now scrolls at 1/4 of the screen. Feels a lot better. You can scroll infinite (sections) with the arrows. And they only show if you've got more than one section.

I've worked a lot today to get done with drag and drop, and I think it's pretty good. I still need to make it more usable with keyboard/remote, but I'll work on that.

BEWARE! You cannot delete any tiles, because of drag and drop. So don't mention it. It doesn't take that long to fix, but I don't have time atm. This is after all, just for testing and finding bugs.

Tried to make a custom tile but just keep getting errors.

I also go a problem with resolution, my tf300 runs at 1280x800 and i understand that it is optimized for 1080p, but i still think that there are to few tiles showing at the same time now with the new header. It looks alot better when i put the tablet in a "phone" mode.So my suggestion is to make the header smaller in height, and also change de distance in between each tile, i think about 2-3 mm is good enough to look good.For optimized feeling atleast 6 tiles should be visable without scrolling.

The naming on each section could be a bit flashier and that triangle maybe could be changed. Also a mode to change to another wallpaper then the ones in there now. And those arrows for changing section could be changed someway to make them better looking, looks akward as it is now.

And a allround idea that i have seen in other apps that might do well here is and startout layout, as where you first startup the launcher for the first time you got the option of having a blank layout or a custom premade one with different sections already setup and filled with apps that you already have installed on your machine that corresponds to each section. Like a movie section that automaticly sense that you have netflix, xbmc, mxplayer and such installed and put them up at the movie section. This would give a user a great start and you could personalise afterwards.

i beong testing, looks better some enhancemts were done keep on with the updates.

the drag and drop to delete the aps i like it very much.

This launcher makes the Android TV Stick experience a whole lot better.

But I'm having a problem with custom tiles. I tried to do one for Max Payne. Got an image. Resized it to 520x260. And saved it as .png file. Then, I click "Custom app" and choose Max Payne as the app I want to add a tile for. I click "Image from Gallery" and choose ES File Explorer as the app to use to navigate to the image. I find the image, crop it (I just pull the yellow lines out as far as they can go), and click "Save."

But then the message "Saving Image" pops up but closes really quickly. And it just brings me back to the "Custom App." I click "Create" and it says "Something went wrong adding a custom tile. Try again."

I can't figure it what I'm doing wrong so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

No problem. I didn't actually know it was a bug. Just thought I was doing something wrong like usual lol. But thanks for the quick reply, and looking forward to the update.

Another quick question: When the update comes out, will it install like an update or a brand new launcher? As in, will I need to redo the spaces and everything? Thanks again for the awesome launcher.

TVLauncher 2.37 Beta findings.

1 - you need to uninstall the old version if not crash the application does not start.
2 - dont know if good or bad you can put multiple times the same application in the same section. lets say its good you can do it if you want.
3 - the find bug its still there.

let me explain better...

1 - main screen. click on the right upper icon. it will open the filter menu,
2 - clic on filter. and put any letters inisde.
3 - go to the section
4 - click again the upper right icon.
5 - click on the keyboard icon.
6 - start typing and in the filter space letters does not appear.

4 - the jump from the last section to the firts its too roguh. its like a jump and not constinue scrolling.

for the rest look very solid

ahh it could be good if we can add our custom sections banners. (or that is for the premium only)

when you filter by the ABCD icon you can select application that has names with numbers.

Think i mentioned the custom tiles not working before but no deal, great that it works now.
Also i tried to recreate that alphapet bug but didnt succed, it works for me.

What i am missing right now is the ability when i add bookmarks to browse my bookmarks from chrome instead of writing all adresses everytime myself, takes alot of time. Also we could add freaktab as bookmark i think.

Also, the space between apps a getting better but it should be the same distance between rows as it is between columns, posting pic to show.

One last think, there is something black that comes forth all the time at each side of the clock, not sure if this is intended but i do not think it look good.

@ tm1982 - Sorry for not mentioning you in the post Hard to keep track of everything. Thanks.
+ I will fix the positioning of the tiles, so that they all have the same space between eachother.
+ I fixed the weird/bleeding shadow, coming with next update.
@ tatubias - I can't reproduce the bug either. Can you post pictures or pm me a video. I would love to fix the issue, but as of now I can't find it.
+ I've added button in the alphabet grid that takes you to all apps starting with a number, coming with next update

Custom images for section banners will come later.
Proper infinite scrolling might come later, but it's not a priority.

I will definitely add FreakTab to the bookmarks grid. Coming soon
