REALLY, dude!??! did you at least read few posts before you posted yours first ever post?

it is already confimed that bob's fw is not compatible with new remote! go back to original fw, and all be ok. and give some time to bob that he do a implementation in new version of custom rom.

Oh thank you is it normal when I install 1080p firmware version icons is very smalls?

Hi Bob. Thanks for the nice ROM. It solved the Xbox 360 wireless controller's wrong mapping, but the problem came back without any visible cause. I've tried to erase NAND an flash the ROM one more time, but gamepad wrong mapping problem still present. The strange thing is that gamepad used to work fine after successful Rom flashing, but for some unknown reason after some time gamepad starting to work wrong

Thanks finless for the rom.. I flashed the 1080p non airplay build.. I quite impressed so far... I understand there are some issues with the new Offical rom leaking memory...
I'm assuming this is why you haven't released 1.3 based on that firmware..... I also noticed that they are aware of the situation...

Have you heard anything in regards to a fix for their memory leak issues on their new official firmware?

problems with ethernet solved

He bob, tnx for the nice rom. I sometimes have the issue that ethernet can not get a ip adres from my router. No problem with the router of any lind. The solution wich works is to turn on the wifi connection. The ethernet connection then registrers an ip. Turning on and of with reboot of the ethernet connection did not work. It is probably a service wich fails to start but i have no idea how to check which service is responsible and is running or making modifications to it

Is The Neo X5's "Natural" Orientation Portrait or Landscape?

So I am a bit confused here. An app I wrote primarily for my Neo (Zoomit Android on the Play Store) tries, among other things, to decipher not only an Android device's current orientation but also its "natural" orientation. By "natural" I mean, for example, that most phones have a natural orientation of portrait while most tablets have a natural orientation of landscape. I have used code found and based on various discussions on the web and find that my Neo is reporting a natural orientation of Portrait which seems incorrect since it is more like a tablet and intended for use with TVs which are landscape (at least HD TV's are). I have installed the Finless ROM so I wonder if that may be an issue here. But I was under the impression that this ROM was basically the stock ROM. Does the Finless ROM change this? Does anyone know what the "natural" orientation for the Neo really is? And if portrait, why is this so? Thanks

Boots to a lock screen?

Did a restart on the box with 1.2 installed, now a screen with a lock comes up with the time? What can I do, the remote has no effect?

Plug a USB mouse on the Minix and unlock the lockscreen with it.
Then disable the lockscreen in Settings.

Hello everyone, first time poster here. First and foremost I want to say "Thank You!!!" to Bob for his work on this ROM. I installed 1.2b on my Neo X5 and everything is working great! My X5 is more stable than ever. The question I have is about using a game controller. I have a wired Xbox 360 controller hooked up and games that should support it aren't responding properly. Is there something I need to do in order to map the controls?

Finless, could you adapt this rom to make it work on Neo G4 (the device I have) and Neo X5 mini? Also, a new 4.2.2 (0809) firmware is out for Neo X5 / Neo X5 mini, could you use it as a base? Thanks!!

Hulu & Netflix

I cannot seem to get the Hulu or Netflix to operate under the new 4.2.2 Rom on my Minix Neo X5 after upgrading 8/10. In a Minix forum they themselves admitted your roms will run Hulu and their new one won't. They also said they were contacting you for help. I was just wondering if anyone knew a solution or if it might just be my own problem. Thanks!!!

Sorry I forgot to mention I get them to load by loading old versions. Netflix will play, however at low quality, and Hulu will do every thing but load the videos.

Neo X5 Ethernet Not Always starting Up Right

I have noticed that on several occasions, my NeoX5 is not getting its DHCP stuff set properly when rebooting. Although there is a cable connected and it was all fine just prior to reboot, there is no connection to the network after reboot. I am on Finless 1.2b if that makes any difference. Any ideas/tips? Thanks

It does that with every ROM I've tried. And I think I've tried them all so I just figured it was the nature of the best.
