I use audio over hdmi to a pioneer vsx-921.

in patched kodi 15.2 from the first post i get not sync audio to video and some sound artifacts (not really clicking bot something strange)
in spmc 15.0 only big noise or only stereo
im mx player all plays fine an video is sync to audio without sound artifacts

I tried with system settings default audio output and forced hdmi bitstream but no difference

would be nice if someone could help get this working
Use spdif for the audio and it will work. Use this too http://www.freak-tab.de/wasser/rk-ko...2-lollipop.apk

sir wasser , i really love using rom 3.0.2 , especially the improvements on youtube , but i'm having a bit of discomfort with the video stutter on my stored .mkv files.
version 3.0.0 RC4 is stutter-free , but it doesn't have the youtube fixes as in version 3.0.2....
my question is ; if i will unpack version 3.0.0 RC4 using androidtool , which file (.img) should i use (extract) from it and flash it after flashing 3.0.2 to get the smooth video playback...?
and if ever i will do that , will it affect the improved youtube playback?
thanks a lot for the never ending help

    My report :

    -> fresh install
Then I just install Kodi 15.2 and spmc 15.0

I still get the same issue with DTS and passthrough:
kodi : some audio gap (every arroud 5s, very enoying)
spmc; big noise instead of sound track ! (unusable)

Both works without passtrough (but no 3D sound, stereo only)

does someone can play DTS with passtrough ?

You need to use Wasser's Kodi build posted on page 38 of this thread to get passthrough to work

I initially tested on HDMI. I tested SPDIF and it seems fine. The audio artifacts (over digitized voices and sounds) seem to only be when HDMI audio is used.

On a completely differnt note: I'm still on 3.0.1 on my orbsmart s91 and I noticed that system partition is almost completely full. It wont even install busybox.
Is that due to lollipop? How do you guys handle it? I'm hesitant deleting stuff from system...

    1) installing 2.0.9a
    2) reboot into recovery mode and using Update via ADB?

Or are you using the Upgrade Tab in the Android Tool 2.3 to upgrade the firmware?
