Yesterday I clicked on Market & it wouldn't open. Then I saw a new icon on my tab for Google Play. Was good to see this upgraded automaticly. It works perfect. I'm running FY1211 1.4 Finless rom. Stupid new name, but then Google likes to stamp their name on everything.

This stinks. My phone and my NB both updated to the new play store. I thought it was time to update to backup pro. On my phone the play store crashed half way through the download of titanium pro and now I can't download anything without getting the message "sorry....stopped....(process com.Android.vending).
I have done all the limited tricks I know. Clear cache and data. I have uninstalled and restored with titanium. Even went back to an older version of market. No good, any time I try to download anything it crashs.
On my NB every thing works fine even the new titanium pro.
Any ideas? Thanks

Yesterday I got ahead of myself on my phone I installed the new play apk and it messed up my phone so I had to factory reset it. Worked fine after that

Not had any issues as yet with new market..it auto updated on arnova 8g2 and same with archos 32 and 101... only dif is name! Dont see the point!!Comment

My Arnova is not updating. I had to acept new terms and conditions that said Google Play but at the top it still says Market. No icon has appeared or anything to update.
I wonder if they are rolling this out and my time zone is not updating? When I get home fro work today I am going to try messing with this a bit before forcing it with the APK.

I had to reboot my NP7 YF1211 after accepting the Terms and Conditions. Before I rebooted, the icon for Market was still there and there was no Google Play icon. After rebooting, the Market icon was gone and the Google Play icon was there.Comment

Strange. As I said above, the Google Play just appeared in my app drawer and Market dissapeared. Working fine. Maybe it has something to do with me having a lot of Google apps installed and they sync together. Just a guess.Comment

Odd, I cant figure out why my Tab is not updating like that! I accepted the terms and rebooted... Nothing. Same Market icon same "Market" title when I run the Market.
I am going to try changing time zones and see if that has something to do with it.
Anyone in the USA had the update automatically?

Yesterday on my Polaroid 700 I opened the market and accepted the terms for google play. I still have the market icon and it says market at the top in the market app. I even rebooted and same thing. Also I have the same issue on my phone -
Tmobile Mytouch3g rooted running ezterry's gingerbread stablev1.0.
-same issue on wifes stock tmobile mytouch 3g. all have market 3.4.4

Well I am on my new 1.5 ROM (philly morph) testing it so maybe thats it..... I have been on my 1.5 since Sunday getting the Market to work. Hmmmmmm.......
I will flash back to 1.4 and see what I get.

FINALLY! On a recent reboot on my 1.5 ROM and I did nothing else!!!!! and I got this screen when I went to run the Market app.

ANDROID Market is upgrading to Google Play
It had a link below this that said "Learn more>". I did not click it yet.
After that was an Icon that looks like a shopping bag but with a colourful arrow >
Then below that it had a "continue" button.
OK I am going to click that and upgrade and let you all know how it went.
It seems somehow Google is deciding when you get the upgrade. I am going to see what files are different. It may not be just Vending.apk. We shall see....
BUT finally I am getting the REAL upgrade!

Fin Im running your 1011 v1.4 on my NB7 1211, I read the earlier update about the market switch, turned on my NB7 and market was already update which is kinda odd seeing that i never gave permission to accept the terms under google play, but anyway i'm just checking in to report that so far all is still running smoothly with your v1.4 and google play installed new app just to see if there was any difference and none to report. On a side note Does anyone know where i can pick up a Arnova 10 G2 (besides **** and amazon) dirt cheap or at least reasonable, as much as i love my NB7 the screen is just too small for my mittens and old eyes. ANY SUGGESTIONS? (you can leave me private message)
