Any update on this updated Rc4?

Here you go: I've already put the requisite V5 beta files into the Image folder here. With Android Tool, use the files in that folder plus the loader.bin and parameter files. Recall, my MK903V is the 16gb ap6335 model - mileage may vary.

I'll leave it up for a while in case anyone else wants to try.

Hi Budgetgeek can i ask what files you switched? i used the rc2 and the new wasser rc4 and switched res/misc/peramiter/kernel to get it working. i think some changes in wasser kernel but just curious to the items you used is all. reboot puts in into screwed up screen and same with shut down.

I believe I flashed everything from the download. The folder doesn't have a config, so I used finless tool and swapped out everything in the folder. If you flash the v5 beta as a base, you need to dump it, and then flash rc4 as base and swap in the resource.img/misc.img/loader.bin that you dumped. All of those are in the download.

It does not shut down properly.

Still no Dolby / DTS passthrough on rc4.

Some Artifacting. And I can not test the sound at the moment. But a good flow!

But I really need HDMI-CEC support.

No RK3288 stock firmware support HDMI-CEC by default.
You can enable it in the resource.img file that you build when making your own kernel.

How can I enable this. Can I enable this in this rom here too?

I would be very happy about some hints.

BTW: The wasser 3.0.1 looks very promising too if anyone can patch it for MK902II or HTC devices it could be the perfect ROM going by wasser

new rom mk902ii_5.1_RKM_20151016.img , i think that is best rom beter that kk roms for my experency wery satabel in gaming not crash erors like kk roms, i have only 1 problem on my tv box cs 928 , this rom work but after turn off yeastarday, tuday wont pas after optimization apps, starting apps, wai this?

The best ROM out there for my interest at least (Local playback of video files with some internet surfing)
Without a doubt , the best video quality as the output is exactly the same as my PC with nvidia card
I compared them pixel by pixel using frame grab of each then subtract the pixels of both frames , the result
Was a complete black frame which indicates that the frames are EXACTLY the same.
They also solved the black level banding problem of the H265 , again for the H265 the image is at the exact
Brightness (Black level) of my desktop PC , also the stuttering problem is solved , also the RKLib codec
For Kodi Works for the first time on android.

The only downside i see is UHD doesn't work and it's a biggie for me , if only UHD works then it would be the
First perfect firmware for the rk3288 , can anyone correct this using whatever wasser used in his roms to get UHD ?
