Whats your opinion about the video playback quality? (Are there microstutter,lost frames, ect)
Are these devices ready for sell.. or are there to many bugs? (As i see them for 35bucks online)
How is the heat..as i see one pcb without heatsink?

I don't have 4k tv so cannot test that
quality is good for me at 1080p
still bugs in firmware
streaming vids from net or nas has already been answered in previous posts

keep in mind the unit seems to be aimed at lower end asian market

exactly my s802 openelec device can play 4k @ 60fps fairly well until you get into 100+mb bitrates. playing 4k 60fps content means nothing to people if its going to be output at 30hz

currently running kerbers 5.95.5 on a square m8 but i had your 5.95.5 build on there too with same results, 5.95.3 and below 2160p resolution was not working, ever since 5.95.5 its been fixed and output and refresh switching works at 2160p 24/30hz. but im just curious because all the s905 videos i've seen so far on youtube say 4k 60fps video playback is the "big feature" but if it outputs at 3840x2160 30hz then its not really important or different from the older chipset.

905 is replacement of 805 with extra core and being 64bit which ain't being utilizing yet

New soc + new sdk = quite a bit of time before having a stable box.

@mitchell4you: Is that $35 for single units or in bulk? The single unit pricing on Aliexpress seems to be around $50 which is similar to the cost of a reasonable S812 based machine which appears to be better equipped for gaming etc. I don't think that there are many at the moment that will be able to take advantage of the improved 4K support of the S905. If the S905 machines do sell ~$35 then it seems that they would offer decent performance at that price.

Is anybody know how can update tronsmart fw to mini mx (both 1gb/8gb s905) ?
I tried, but isnt make it.
I removed bootloader from zip, and from the script. But when i try to sign it, recovery isnt accept it.
