After having a look around Geekbox.tv, this is a very nice looking system. It will be very interesting to see how this matures.
The optional "Landingship" offers many additional features. They also appear to have some nice add-ons and accessories in the works.
LEDs are a little on the bright side from the pics, but with the pop-up top, this will be an easy thing to address.
Finally, a box that is vented on the top. Bravo.

I hope there will be a bundle deal on the GeekBox and the Landingship.

          I have many questions already.

Thanks for the post and info.

The look reminds me of Alienware's rigs.

Agreed on the hotcakes, and for many reasons not necessarily associated with a TV box.

It would be kick-a** to see a case that accepts the GeekBox board when docked to the Landingship.

Glad to see this finally surface.

A Pi on speed and should cater for a variety of uses in one.

OK! If you leave a comment on the promo page, get a $20 discount on the GeekBox. After getting the GeekBox for $89, this will make adding the Landingship a virtual $10 proposition.
                      Hooray!

Im liking the idea here and its really making me wish someone would come up with a modular mini pc. This is like almost there with the landingship, imagine if the landingship was like a mobo that sat in an external case and then the main board of the mini pc could be swapped out with an updated version with higher / variable specs without having to pay the cost of a full new unit.

I’d like to pipe in here– geek box is a quantum leap in quality above anything else done in the 3368 realm,
and it’s also made with hack-ability in mind. There are *big* plans for that humble “landing board.”
Expect much, much more from this series of “as open as rockchip will allow this week” devices….

                          Fun Times Ahead
                          Cheers
