Those are the pins, use USB burning software erase all and hit go. Hold reset button as you plug in USB. Use the otg USB port.

thank you - i tried this: Pin 7-8 shorted and reset button - plugged in USB cable otg port at rear: whilst burning tool detects, erase all but it still fails at 4% - guess it might be the rom?Originally posted by jocooter View PostComment

Only thing the pins do is if you can't connect. The rest is rom and your box. If you know rom is correct try force erase all
