Tronsmart MK908 Android 4.2.2 "Official" - Finless ROM 1.5

Try to install ES explorer or Solid Explorer, they never failed me while streaming media from samba over wifi (computer running XP).

I am looking for "native" mount, directly in the OS itself. Apparently it is possible but I need the right CISF modules for this device. Any help will be appreciated

i have installed this rom on my mk908, but there are some "bugs" for example the wifi signal gets broken often.

will this rom get an upgrade / will this rom be developed or not?!

You know I got my MK908 and 1.5 was already available so I flashed that and only really had problems.
Other day decided to try a step back and install 1.4 and man things are running smoother for me.
My ES Explorer network issues seem to be resolved :crosses-fingers:, network HD media plays great, Youtube plays properly and quickly, no issues or drawbacks as far as I can tell.

Just wanted to mention for anybody else experiencing problems.

There is a working 1080p ROM combination for the V3.0 sticks.
I have one and it works at 1080p.

Please download the AnTuTu CPU master free from market, open it and try to set the minimum to maximum frequency (1608Mhz) and then click Apply. when I click Apply, the stick it freezes and must forced restart, with this rom.

cpu scaling is not currently working on the V3 sticks

don't know if we knew we would fix it
its not a problem with the rom its a issue with the current kernel sources you can use the stockkernel if you want

Sorry, I still do not know how to flash just the kernel. As I said I'm new in Android MiniPCI and I just learned how to put a custom rom with RKandroidTool (eraseNAND and then FlashRom), or a stock rom with RXbatchTool (Ugrade). Instead I can not figure out how to put only kernel or recovery, boot, etc.. If possible, ask someone able to make a small tutorial on ways and possibilities to flash a rom or just the kernel.

simply place the stockkernel.img in the \rom folder
and then change the gui to match untick everything but the kernel and click run

Many thanks. I do not think I gave the head to change the file path. I copy the kernel file in rom folder ... but on .... I'm stuck. I thought loading somewhere ......
Simple as that.
