some applications not compatable with device

I loaded this custom ROM and still experimenting with it. But I noticed several applications say they are not compatible with the device . ie The Weather Channel, CBS news, etc. Is there a setting I don't have configured correctly?

    Thank You, Respectfully HJK

This is because of Build Prob and the Device standing there.
I can tweak it saying Samsung S3 but not all UserĀ“s like that.

Maybe wiping nand data will help. I was into a situation where my rk3188 device can no longer be detected with a simple recovery due to corrupted data in nand. There's a guide somewhere in this forum about that but its rk3066. Please note that every device may have different nand chip. I was not able to follow exactly the guide here but was lucky to short the pin correctly by chance after more or less 20 attempts. GL

Took the device apart and there is an Toshiba TC58NVG6DCJTA00 NAND chip and I can't find the schematics for it, found 1 similar (http://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=TC58NVG ) in the TC58NVG range and shorted the pin 8 and 9 but nothing happend. Don't know if it actually did help with the pins but I mananged to delete the NAND. Now when I want to up the img file, i have to quickly press the upgrade and it starts but then stops at random percentage.

Didn't work, rom starts uploading and quits at random, tried several pc's and usb cables same problem. When I am quick to press the run button it runs and then quits, when i wait luke 5 second when connecting before pressing run it won't even start.

Just a quick question: I have MK809III and this firmware works ok (except video stuttering which is very present)... Is this the same firmware like the one for MK802IV, or, could I use all the firmwares made for MK802IV without side effects?

You can use this rom for your Device.
I haven't notice any Video stuttering.

                        Scenario: Youtube

                        1. When I play a clip while moving the mouse video goes fluently
                        2. When I play a clip without moving the mouse video plays choppy

                        Is this video stuttering?

P.S. I didn't take any overclocked/underclocked kernel. Maybe this is the problem?

ROM seems nice and responsive, BT and Wifi not working on my MK809III however the biggest problem is the damn video playback stuttering issue that goes away when the mouse pointer is moving.

The hunt continues for a fix for this

This Rom is tested with a flycast mk809III. There Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work. Where do you buys yours?
On my devices I don't see video frame skipping. Try it with 50Hz. In settings for video out.

I tried all resolutions and refresh rates. The same result. Also bluetooth is not working on my mk809iii with your firmware. I didn't test wifi, I have Ethernet2USB so not importnat to me.

                              I bought mine at w2comp.

I'm running into other issues, but yes, Netflix seems indeed to work now.

I've been using the wrong workaround all along, now I'm wondering if it would work with the default rom as well, after all...
Could you confirm that Netflix still enters HD fully and does not randomly 'pause' or buffer with this xposed fix? I ask because the only fix I could find was forcing Netflix to use a different player version. This method can be found HERE.

You basically just modify the file located at '/data/data/com.netflix.mediaclient/shared_prefs/nfxpref.xml' and add the following line in the <map> brackets: <int name="nflx_player_type" value="6" />

This WILL work, but netflix does not enter HD. it seems like it will just stay in SD mode. I found it usable until a better fix comes out. But if this xposed works in HD then I will use that!

                                Regards,
                                Jack.
