BBC iplayer with flash 11 not playing, i uninstalled flash 11 and put on 10.3 and only had sound, done a reset but still the same...any ideas chaps? By the way fantastic rom!

i think you must first delete your flasplayer map somewhere.
and then install 10.3

Yes.... dump the POS built in browser. It is not even stable.

Install FLash 10.3 and Opera mobile browser. This works for me.

Awesome is the word to use here.

I haven't tryed Finless/Philly ROM but I'm really happy with this one.
The problem with the Huawei E1550 3G Stick is solved.

What I notice is some problem maybe related to the video refresh rate
Movie player, for instance, doesn't show thumbnails (no big deal here) and worst are the subtitles overlap each other, I'm using Soul Movie but the same problem appears on the default video player that now also run subtitles.

The other problem I've noticed is with the Photo Gallery, folder icons are so small that I can´t select the one I want , the icon may have like 2 or 3 pixels..., also there is no big deal here as I can use any other app, accepting suggestions.

My main use for tab is to watch my favorite series and some movies on my train trip to work, so any help would be appreciated.

I did install this . Looks good but found that on some apps the back and home buttons disappeared so I had to turn it off and on. Only because of this I have gone back to finless 1.4. Anyone else had this problem?

I removed button savior from the installed apps from Morka. We do not have permissions to distribute it in a ROM.

YOU WILL NEED THIS as some apps go full screen and you cant get out. So go to the market and install the free Button Savior app and this will solve that problem.

Kernel Objects in new ROM

I've been looking around the ROM filesystem to see what's new (apart from the obvious !) and spotted several kernel object .ko files in the /system/lib/modules and /drvrs directories. Far more than we had in the stock ROM if I remember correctly.

I'm still interested in Bluetooth and have tried manually inserting what I think is the correct file for a Bluetooth USB adaptor - /system/lib/modules/bt/btusb.ko, but that returns an error :-

insmod /system/lib/modules/bt/bfusb.ko
insmod: can't insert '/system/lib/modules/bt/bfusb.ko': unknown symbol in module or invalid parameter

Other .ko files do insert correctly, so not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a versioning or other problem with these.

Anyone know ?

Ok have installed button saviour. I feel stupid really because I remember reading another thread and you said to install it.
Just one thing, on the boot screen can I disable the sound or change the volume setting somewhere?

My README.TXT instructions that I spent a lot of time writing explain how to get rid of the boot sound.

Not trying to be rude but I did spend a bit of time on those instructions

Accelerometer and video camera issue

Thank you Finless and Morka for all your work on this. I flashed last night with 1.13 and installed Skies of Glory. I have no pitch control and very sensitive roll. I also installed Raging Thunder racing game and even with sensitivity set to minimum it is too sensitive to play. Both of these games played fine on the previous ROM, arn10g2-23-1_1. Any ideas? I also see that the video camera has green lines and is not usable.

Good morning gents I installed this rom last night all seems well apart from this morning I go to use my tab on the train on way to work only to find it hasn't charged up altho it was on charge all night does anyone have any suggestions please? :-(

Make sure you plugged your charger into the charge port not the earphone jack. My son has done this several times. Does not hurt anything but does keep the Arnova battery uncharged. It is easy to do.
