1º i know still trying to find a fix for it... for now use the pop up to change the default "Home"
2º well in here works very good, in N i get 35-43MBps and on AC 150-235MBps (i have 1Gbps/100MBps internet connection) maybe to many wifi noise where you live? change in the router from 20Mhz to 40Mhz it helps a lot... other than that i cant help you wifi is one of those things...

Only with root it will do the needed changes correct?

How do you unpack the original firmware and modify it, are there any guides on how to get started?

I found the following which explains how to unpack the boot.img and recovery.img with the OTA files.

This appears to work for system.new.dat in OTA files, the sdat2img.py in the git repo works fine on linux.

However, there is also an image for the Nexbox A1 that is just one large file and its unclear how to unpack it, I think it might be a full emmc image?

I have v2.0.8 and taking a look at it now, but I don't see how to actually fully unpack the image itself.

I suppose you could make all the changes inside that app itself instead of modifying the OTA image?

No you don't change nothing on the app itself... the app its only used to unpack and pack... go to the dir where you installed the app and should be a temp dir there and its there you make your magic!

Is there a way to add s905x remote into this box? I have tx5 pro with custom firmware by Prahjister, the m12n remote is working with my tx5 pro. I also want my tx5 pro remote to work with m12n. What step do i need. Ty

Only 2 issues remain, WLAN stops working occasionally (I have to check my AP could be a problem there) and DTS Audio (Passthrough SPDIF) makes less problems but it's still there.

I was having problems with the stock ROM, it was kicking me out of Kodi after I had finished watching a Program or Movie, but I could not find out the reason why.

I was hoping that your new ROM would fix this but unfortunately I am having the same problem.

I was wondering if you could help me with this problem, I know its not of your causing.
