Dolamee D5 RK3229 Modded Firmware

I've been stuck in a bootloop for a week+ now and have left my D5 sitting in the corner... I don't have a male to male USB right now.

Wondering if I can flash the firmware via a micro SDcard.

I saw a tool somewhere here on FT, but it was posted in early 2015. Not sure if it is possible on the rk3299 devices, and what the process would be.

Please advise :-)

Look like it get marshmellow update so sd as system memory very possible on the device with that os . that get rid of some limitation. But if you get 1 gig device not going to ever get faster. That everything works well a great thing and most important.

Mine be in next week (snail mail) i have few coming so i test marshmellow out first.

Yes I saw and flashed it but it doesn't boot.

Will be good if Dolamee does issue one though.

I have tried my best to get MM working but gave up on that for now.

I've got 2 D5's with the 2gb ram being delivered today.
Have we been able to confirm that firmware will work with both models the same?
I'm looking forward to twrp and flashing Bluesman's firmware....

Yes the firmwares are interchangeable between the D5 and D32

Turns out GearBest only shipped me 2 of the 1gb/8gb Dolamee D5's and did not send the 2 2gb/8gb devices.
I paid for and order shows 4 boxes total ordered....
It took 8 days to get half of what I ordered...
Very frustrating

Bought this box. Has audio clipping in YouTube etc..Surprise as the box received OTA for November when I booted first time..Is rom for D32 best right now?

Mo123 seems to be the only person that has MM but that should mean that there is scope for some form of official stick firmware releases.

Unless he wants to share some of his secrets.

Well I have got auto adjust framerate working, so just need to polish up a new firmware and see how it goes.
