I think it could be implemented as a CWM installed zip. This zip could be included in the ROM kit as an option.

One work around is to go to developer options and click "never sleep while charging". Then plug in your charger while downloading. That's what I do.

Most tablets I have worked with do the same thing...it is very common.

Only problem I seem to be having is that Flash doesn't appear to be working on some streaming websites.
If I go to the Adobe website it confirms the version 11.1.115.11 and says it is working, however when i go to the streaming website the video doesn't load. I know it's not the site as it works on my old ployer momo 11 bird, just not on my pipo m8 pro.
Any ideas?

It all depends on which browser you use. Stock, Chrome and Opera Mini don't seem to work as well. I have better luck with Puffin browser with flash. There are some sites I must access for work that use flash and the only browser I can use for them is Puffin.

No good mate. Puffin Didn't work. I also tried boat browser, firefox and safari.
None worked.
So why is it that on my ployer momo bird flash works great on all browsers, but not on my pipo m8 pro?
My momo is running flash version 11.1.115.20 without any problems.

Sometimes I have to kick start Flash

There is an app called Flash Player Installer which I have used. You might try it.

Browsers on many tabs are troublesome, not really sure why. However, some things I have tried might help. Start by disabling Chrome. It can be a problem if it automatically gets upgraded from factory installed v18.0 by Google Play. Just "Disable" it under Settings --> Apps. I have read it can still be problematic anyway.

The Factory "Browser" works well on my M8Pro3G and the "Puffin" browser recommended by rriley is working well on my M8. Try this link to get the last updated version of Flashplayer for Android 4.0, http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/...-versions.html . There are no versions beyond Android 4.0, it all ended with ICS.

Since you can always get another copy of flashplayer 11.1.115.11 from the Adobe Flashplayer Archive, I would just uninstall and give v11.1.115.69 a try. I have used v11.1.115.63 on my PiPo UpU1, but could not define it to be any better than v11.1.115.11. Also, I downloaded v11.1.115.63 just weeks ago, but now there is a version 11.1.115.69. This would indicate to me that they are still doing updates for some reason, perhaps for new devices being manufactured that are still running Android 4.0. Keep in mind that supposedly all versions of Flashplayer are not supported beyond Android 4.0.

I have no idea why PiPo uses v11.1.115.11 on their tablets other than perhaps to have compatibility with their adopted "Browser". And, I would at least try disabling "Chrome" for now. And, give the "Puffin" browser another chance.

And of course my standard caveat applies here, "S--- happens, so proceed at your own risk..."

Thanks for your tips, but neither worked. Disabled Chrome and uninstalled flash and updated to latest version, but no luck.
It's weird, because I'm pretty sure I visited cricfree when I still had stock rom and it was fine.
Unless they changed something on their streams.

just checked cricfree site, loads fine on Pipo M8 with flash 11.1.115.69 on Dolphin, just in case make sure you are viewing the site in desktop mode. if you are in look out for Ashes stream visit hqsportz, loads fine on all my devices

Also, does Hulu+ have issues with rooted 3188 tablets? it takes inordinate time to buffer whilst their ads loads in a jiffy. never faced such issues on Rk3066 devices even with adaway installed.

Thanks mate. I downloaded dolphin, made sure it was on desktop mode but still no luck. Cricfree just freezes up when I select a stream and hqsportz I just get a lego brick with a question mark in it.
Could it be a bad flash or something? Are you also running rileyrom 1.7?
