If you know a rom in wich you have this modules you can get it and load in the kernel of the Nexus

ismod yourmodule.ko

You can create also a script in the folder init.d to load it automatically like all other modules already loaded.

If you don't have this modules i can compile it in sectember.

In alteenative you can search on google play "paragon exfat ntfs"

No i think the wifi / bluetooth chip is different.

With a little of work on you can try to port the nexus also on k-r42

For now it can work well without any modification on minix x7

T428 and minix x7 have the same wifi / bluetooth module and the same board configuration.

i don't care about bluetooth and wifi. i only use ethernet. Will ethernet work on k-r42?

I don't have one to test but should works.

it will not work.
the module for ethernet is in kernel.
if you flash the the stock kernel you will get reboots every couple minutes.
also you will louse ir remote, wifi and bt if you flash difrent kernel.

But i think that you can use the original k-r42 kernel

I suggest to install / test one of my kernels that you can find in the kernel development thread.

if you want to use stock kernel you will need to replece some firmware files

If you use the t428 kernel with video fix should work.


Not the default kernel of the nexus 1.2 multiwindows.

Get it from kernel development section. Only for test, i'm not sure because i can't test.

Well in september i will make a kernel with wifi and ethernet for the k -r42 Now i'm in vacation. I don't have all my pc and development stuff.

Please don't spread stupidity. The ethernet USB driver is the same on all devices, as the USB ports are connected the same way. Currently all of the known RK3188 sticks use the Rockchip prototype board's design (the T428 is actually a 1:1 copy of it), the main changes were only the Wifi-BT modules, and the storage. Ethernet, as it is USB-based, will definitely work, unless it is some crappy unknown adapter, or the manufacturer changed the layout of the USB ports.
